It was a busy weekend and this was the only hotel left. It was okay, nice close access to the beach using a walkway behind the hotel. The trains were not too annoying but the walls and doors are really thin, leading to far too much noise in the morning. You hear everything.

Made a last minute booking to stay here instead of Santa Barbara, which was twice the amount. It's in a okay neighborhood among some fast food places. Room was in better condition than Santa Barbara beach location of same chain. Staff was not the friendliest-not rude but not exactly welcoming either.

i travel to Ventura once a month for work, and i stay here EVERY time! the staff is great! the rooms are amazing! Full kitchens, and baths. I stay in a different room each time, and each one is uniquely different but always immaculate, and the MOST comfortable memory foam mattress on the bed makes for a very restful sleep. It is quiet and close to the beach and shopping, retaurants. Its a great place to stay!

Beautiful hotel/resort. We stayed in The executive King on the 9th floor and was very comfortable and clean. Only negative is the advertised deep soaking tub. Just a standard depth tub was provided otherwise excellent. Would stay again.

The description on Expedia said there were room with ocean views and there was not. The front desk told us they have tried to call Expedia and fix this error but were unsuccessful. The hotel was nice and clean, however, wifi is not included, there is not a fridge in the room, and the layout of the hotel is very spread out. The staff was very kind but I do not think the stay was worth what we paid for it. Also, you have to pay for parking! &14 for self park or $16 for valet.
