Hotel de I'Horloge

"Nice hotel centrally located"
Initially I was not very happy as the room was very small and hot. I turned on the a/c, only to realize the a/c was not working. I went to the desk and was told that it was switched from a/c to heat the previous week. A fan was offered by the original person who check me in, which would have really not helped. I asked for a room change which he said was not possible. Michael was another receptionist who was working at the time and identified a room in a different location around the hall and with a sun exposure which was much cooler and was an upgrade. This made all the difference in my stay which turned out to be wonderful. I was so grateful that Michael was on duty at the time, as I suspect I would not have had such a good outcome otherwise. He is truly to be recognized for his kindness.

"Charming hotel in fantastic central location"
My husband and I enjoyed a delightful long weekend at La Mirande recently. I would recommend this hotel especially in off-season as I imagine the service is more attentive (as it was during our stay) than it would be in the summer. Our room was spacious and charmingly old-world. The many common spaces are delightful, especially the indoor atrium which services afternoon tea and the walled gardens. We also enjoyed dinner at La Mirande which served an especially good cheese course. The entree was nothing special but overall I would highly recommend this hotel and restaurant.

"Location was perfect. "
My friend lost her wallet and the staff was more than helpful in making calls to report the loss to credit card companies. We couldn't have asked for a kinder more gracious staff.

"Great location - quiet yet close"
On our arrival, we had difficulty finding parking & finding our way into the city where needed. On top of this we did not count on the drive from Arles to take 3 hours (lots of traffic and a wacky GPS route) so we arrive late and harried. Sabine was kind enough to wait for us about an hour. She greeted us kindly and efficiently. House rules a clear. The apartment is near everything. We loved going to The Halles market in the morning for cafe & croissants; and for picnic supplies for the day's outings. Because we thoroughly enjoy the Roman Antiquities present in the area, it was helpful to live in a town full of them plus a short drive from Pont Gard. Nimes & Orange are also within day-trip distance.

"Beautiful setting."
Great setting - disappointed with the menu could be more in line with modern restaurants and not the same thing we were eating 20 years ago. The lounge looked as if it had been abandoned , very uncomfortable seating, bar closed and looked like a storeroom for children's highchairs. Not enough staff, probably because it was end of season. All in all we enjoyed our stay and our room was very good especially as it was a standard room.

"Lovely secluded hotel and spa!"
It was SUCH a wonderful hotel!!! The front desk: We didn't get a welcome beverage, but it didn't matter because everyone at the front desk was WONDERFUL! They went out of their way to make sure we had a great time. Sylvestre even brought us DVDs from his house so we could watch them on our BluRay player in our room. The room: I had a junior suite and it was lovely! Large, with a balcony, king bed, and the best jacuzzi tub! The mattress was a little too firm for me, but my fiancée loved it. They also had free amenities in the bathroom and bathrobes and slippers. There was also a safe in the room and a minibar, free coffee and tea and water. The grounds: The grounds of the hotel were *so* beautiful! There were fig trees and olive trees and it looked like we were in a French orchard garden. I loved it! The spa & pool: I had 2 massages in 2 days. The spa was lovely. There is an indoor and outdoor pool, and an indoor and outdoor jacuzzi! The spa also has a gym, a color therapy shower, a sauna, and a steam room. The restaurant: Simply delicious! We ate dinner here 2 nights and ordered room service twice. All the food was fantastic. Don't miss the cheese cart. It's the star of the show. All in all, a GREAT resort hotel, away from it all for those looking for some necessary relaxation. The staff make you feel like you're the only guests in the resort. We will be back, auberge de cassagne! Merci!!!

Vaucluse is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Vaucluse, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Vaucluse hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
