Everyone I met was extremely friendly and courteous, and made for a positive impression. That being said, I had some difficulty getting my room the first night, and didn't actually get to check in until 6pm. Items that need attention may require 2-3 phone calls to get resolved. Overall, a pleasant stay.

My sister, niece and I came down from Ohio for the NHL All Star weekend. We like the location of the hotel across from the Parthenon. It is so nice to use the shuttle to go downtown and get picked up. Don't have to find parking. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. I will be staying here again.

"Lovely hotel, great location, well worth the money"
Our group of five adults and four children stayed here for two nights in inter-connected suites. The hotel feels new, the rooms are comfortably large, the kitchen in the living room area of the suites is nicely furnished - and the indoor pool (for the kids) and the very generous do-it-yourself breakfast in the lobby were wonderful.
One warning: they clear breakfast at 9 am so if you are a late sleeper, you are out of luck.
Location across from Vanderbilt University and in the midst of several restaurants is very good. Easy access to main roads to tour Nashville, too.
It's not a Ritz Carlton but it's worth the money.
By the way, the reason for four stars in two categories is that our bed wasn't made up one day; I called housekeeping and the supervisor arrived within five minutes with a maid to make the bed and clean the rooms. It turned out that the maid assigned to our room said she had done it - but she hadn't done so. Lots of apologies by the supervisor. They really wanted us to be pleased.
