Staff was very nice. Room smelled clean. Sheets were dirty had hair not matching our coloring, and ugly little black fibers, and dots on them. Floor was filthy between the bed and the door. We had to clean our feet before we could get into bed. You could hear the train at nine although it wasn’t super unpleasant I didn’t know about that. We had brought our own sheets so we didn’t use any of their bedding or pillows. Would not stay at this place again.

It’s a good place to just rest. We found big beetles in our room and they only offers coffee but it was still good. They had a family dollar or dollar general across the street which helped for a quick spot to get stuff to make sandwiches. But it was still good.

I very much enjoyed my stay at the Motel 6 Van Horn, TX. This is a budget motel so there were no frills attached, but the customer service was outstanding, my room was clean and completely serviceable, and I slept well and enjoyed my stay. Well done, Motel 6!

The hotel was nasty. Our first room was covered in all types of bugs, both dead and alive. Bugs were everywhere, including in the bed, so we requested another room. We were moved to the next room over and it was just as bad. I contacted Expedia immediately and was given a refund and we left. The prices were cheap, but it’s worth paying more for a cleaner place down the road, like the Days Inn or Super 8.

Perfect for a short stay

no frills but clean and comfortable. The check in was quick. Staff was super friendly. When I had an issue figuring out the TV, she was quick to come help me figure it out. We’ll definitely stay again.

Clean, friendly place to sleep. A little too much light from the parking lot seeped around the curtains, but for the price it was great.
