"Hotel with hot spring near to agora station"
Very good. My only concern was the state of the private baths in the evening as they did not seem as clean as I would have liked. Otherwise, staff were excellent. I would recommend not going for half board as there are good restaurants in the neighbourhood. Dinner was good but expensive. At least check the difference between B&B and half board. This is a quiet hotel so if you want to party it is not for you. Having said that, it is a good place to relax and chill out. Good for couples although public baths are single sex.

"Located on beautiful Lake Ashi"
Beautiful property with a wonderful view of the lake from our spacious room. Our room was very clean and the staff was attentive and courteous. The Prince Hakone itself is somewhat isolated and public transportation is very limited. A free shuttle to the nearest village (MotoHakone) is provided but we had a terrible time locating the rendezvous place there and ended up walking all the way back to the hotel. The hotel does have three restaurants on site which are very good but all quite expensive. Also there was no lakeside lounging patio which I thought was a bit odd given it's great lakeside location. In the future I would be hesitant to stay there without a car but overall a very nice hotel-resort.

"Beautiful hotel with a mountain view to the east."
Laforet was an amazing experience. We booked "Western Japanese Private Onsen" room and it was totally worth it. Beds were a little firm but overall the experience was extremely relaxing. Public onsen was also very nice and no one else was there when we went so it was almost like a second private one!

"Well worth it! "
The hosts are very welcoming. Hospitality is amazing. You'll feel right at home and more. We arrived here on our first day in Japan and after hours of sitting on a plane and trains, it was well worth the trip down here. It rained when we arrived and the staff immediately took our luggage, wiped us down and served us tea while they set up our room. The room was very warm and cozy. Awesome view of a garden. You'll appreciate all the little things while you're here. The private onsens are to die for! There are many to choose from. It rained but that helped us relax more. It was beautiful. Must do! The kaiseki dinner was an amazing experience in itself. Every dish was prepared with extra care. I guarantee you'll be satisfied at the end. Overall, I highly recommend this to anyone visiting Japan. It was a great way to begin our 2 week stay. I wish I I could've stayed a little longer. I will miss this place dearly!

"Lovely place. love the private bath"
Their food menu are soso. But there will definitely be some highlight on one of a few dishes. Like their beef! Mostly are fresh vegetables! So if u like vegetables their food is the way to go. I wouldnt go here for food but more for their stay and ambience. Private bath in suite room was pretty!

"A true Ryokan experience"
Absolutely amazing experience from being greeted outside the door to the rooms with names. The staff is absolutely amazing and accommodating. Dinner was 9 courses of traditional fare and the staff was willing to add some miso in case our kids didnt like the offerings (which they did mostly). The rooms have true picture windows and in the morning we got a real treat with Mt Fuji in all its glory. The springs are gender split but in this ryokan they are indoor only. Suggest walking to the outdoor one in the adjacent prince hotel.

Usami Beach is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Usami Beach, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Usami Beach hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
