Hot tamale candy and tootsie pops (cherry) awaited us at the check in desk. Lemon Cookies by the elevator with lemon flavored water was a nice surprise. A coffee bar on our floor with newspapers all added to our exceptional stay. Rooms were gorgeous and hotel is within walking distance to many restaurants. The hotel provides a shuttle to take you where you need to be within a 4.0 mile radius. When you add it all up, ZA ZA hits the marks for customer service. 5 stars in my humble opinion. We will be back.

I had a late check in -- around 9 pm. The valet service was quick and the valet was welcoming. Front desk experience was quick; easy check in. There was a live band playing in the bar, which looked inviting. I had a long day already, so didn't stop in. When I go back, I'll make plans to make use of that feature. Live music 6 days a week is a nice touch at the end a of busy day when you're traveling alone for business.
Even with the music in the lobby, my room was quiet and restful. Well appointed furnishings and draperies, and nice amenities you would expect of hotel at this level. The room was a spacious suite, with historical charm.
There is a fire station pretty close by, and I heard sirens a few times during the night. That's to be expected when staying in the heart of a city where the action is. Minutes to downtown business district, and can also get to highway 75 and up North very easily.

I enjoyed my 6 day stay at the HYATT house in Dallas. All of the employees were friendly and helpful. My room was huge and more than took care of my needs. Loved the pillows, which made me sleep like a baby! The complimentary breakfast was delicious. Every day, I enjoyed the sweet grapefruit slices and the sausages, etc. Beyond that, I daily used the Fitness Center and knew that I could have enjoyed the jacuzzi and/or pool if I wanted to use them. It even made me feel good to know that my car was protected within the gated security parking location. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel!
