We stayed in a premium queen cabin and it was fantastic.
The beds are very comfortable, our room was tidied every day and we had a fantastic view.
The hotel is 10 min walk to Time Square ( which in New York terms is really close , maybe 2 blocks away).
I would definitely stay here again when in New York.

Great hotel. Received free upgrade to high floor room with terrific views of the city. Room was very, very nice - bed comfortable, bathroom was amazing, TV great and what an amazing view.
Hotel staff was just terrific from the check in to us getting help when we left a pair of woman's winter boots behind - they shipped it to us that day and it arrived the next day for $5 (really they had it with our room number, etc.).
Location is amazing. A block or two from Subway and block or two from the heart of Soho. You cannot go wrong if your looking for a place out of midtown and blocks away from some of the best shopping, dining and fun neighborhoods in Manhattan.

"Nice hotel, near NYC's Pennsylvania Train Station "
I had to take a later train, and did not arrive until after 1:00 a.m. I had decided to travel to attend a two-day conference when I received a reminder, and had not spent much time reading about the hotel. It was a pleasant surprise to discover that it was located within a two-block walking distance from the train station, as well as the subway system. After a hefty taxi fair to my meeting, I was able to use the subway for almost door-to-door travel. The hotel was huge, with a pleasant reception.to check-in, despite my late arrival. The bedroom and bath were immaculate. The only shortcoming was the lack of a coffee maker, which would have probably been provided had I called the desk, but I fell asleep after a full day of sessions, watching my favorite program on their large screen, snuggling on their supportive, but soft and cozy bed.

George Washington marks the midpoint of Union Square, a well-groomed park that offers respite from Manhattan's masses. Known for its weekly Greenmarket, which unites foodies with farmers, the park is surrounded by a vibrant neighborhood of shops and restaurants and is convenient to Greenwich Village and downtown to the south. Just north stands one of New York City's iconic buildings, the Flatiron.
