The room was large, clean and comfortable, and had good bathroom facilities. The concierge was very helpful, and the hotel has a shuttle bus to and from Osaka station, which is good because getting to the hotel otherwise takes both rail and about 10 minute walk. It is located directly over a subway station leading to Osaka Castle. The only negative is that it took a bit of effort to get far enough away to find restaurants that aren't "fine dining".

I've read reviews about how long it took to find the hotel from the station underground and it was difficult, but all you have to do is find someone that works in the station and show them this hotel name and they will point the way. We were given a map and that really helped once we knew where we were. It is intimidating because it's such a busy station with tons of people constantly walking in every direction. It was an experience!
The hotel is beautiful. The bed was so comfortable. Loved the room setup with desk and couch. Perfect size for two. We had the breakfast buffet and it was really good. They served both American and Japanese food. Dining room is beautiful. Nice way to start the day. I recommend the breakfast buffet because we soon learned that nothing opens till 9 or 10:00. The view from our room was beautiful.

Located in the city’s north side, this is Osaka’s center for contemporary shopping. In addition to numerous shopping malls, this is the home of the Umeda Sky Building. Designed to reflect the image of the sky, the building’s two 173 meter towers are joined by exterior escalators and a rooftop floating garden. The Blue Note Osaka, one of the city’s premier jazz clubs, is also found in Umeda.
