We had a great trip to Savannah GA to celebrate our 10th year Wedding Anniversary. We were taken care of immediately upon arrival by Andrew who worked the front desk. He gave us an excellent room looking out to the river. Everyone who worked at the Hotel were great and very helpful except for the lady who worked the night shift. She had a negative attitude about her job was not helpful when we were asking for local directions of places that ended up being around the corner. Her attitude continued throughout our stay at the hotel. We had a great time in Savannah and enjoyed our stay very much. Great location, restaurants and shops walking distance from the hotel. Highly recommend this hotel even with the unhappy lady working the night shift at the front desk.

I should have asked for an inside room. Because my adult children smoke, I reserved a smoking room. There were people hanging around that I would have preferred my grandchild not be around, and several people driving around the parking lot tried to proposition my daughter when she was smoking.

I must admit I was a little concerned when pulling up to this motel because of the marginal neighborhood, but I was pleasantly surprised once I went inside. The staff was very friendly, the room was comfortable, the shuttle service was fantastic with a wonderful driver, and breakfast was good .

Excellent hotel in an old inn in the heart of the Historic District of Savannah. Room was clean and comfortable but could have used a good desk and chair. Great for tourists but maybe not so much for business travelers. Restaurant and bar are both great.

The island’s main attraction is its five-mile stretch of beach. South Beach draws crowds of sun-worshippers and surfers and is near the Tybee Pier & Pavilion. Dolphins are spotted from the less-crowded North Beach, located at the mouth of the Savannah River. A 178-step climb to the top of the Tybee Light Station, Georgia’s oldest and tallest lighthouse, is rewarded with panoramic island views.
