The hotel and room were nice and comfortable. The only thing was there was a scented plug-in in the room turned all the way up so it was really strong. We unplugged it and turned the bathroom fan on while we went to eat. It was better when we got there, but you could tell it was to cover up a smoke smell in the room. We got use to it pretty fast though. It was the most comfortable bed we had our whole trip. The continental breakfast was great. Biscuits & gravy with eggs. Nice staff. All around good experience.

Our family of 6 had booked one of their triple queen bed rooms. All 6 of us could be in one room and that was going to save us a lot of money. When the lock on the door did not work the manager immediately offered different accommodation and showed us various options. She was very kind and helpful and we ended up getting 2 rooms next to each other, for the same price as we would have paid for the 1 room.
The next day when we had failed to read a notice on the backdoor to the pool and managed to lock ourselves out of the hotel room we still got friendly service and they got us back in our room in no time. The pool is small, but was clean and we really knew we were in California as we could pick oranges and peaches right off the trees in the yard.

While the bathroom was dated and needed some upgrades as well as additional heat, overall the stay at this motel was satisfactory. The desk clerk was helpful and offered advice regarding local restaurants when asked. She also provided a solution for me when I could not get the TV to work. The room was comfortable, but being near the freeway there was a fair amount of road noise.
