"Idea for the Vatican"
Ideal basic hotel close to the Vatican City and surrounding attractions. If you're up for walking can reach Vatican easily but get a taxi over river and you're at Trevi fountain and loads of other sites and plenty of shopping from Fendi to H&M depending on your budget. Hotel was clean and basic. Breakfast buffet style and decent enough choice to appeal to majority. Only downside was very noisy even with windows closed at night and on 5th floor, the mopeds never stop !! But to be fair the whole city is noisy and busy all hours of the day so not the place if you want a quiet trip. Taxi take 5 mins to arrive which hotel will phone for you if you need one and they're really good at helping with any problems/questions you have. Perfect for the weekend stay we had but maybe not for a longer holiday.

"Perfect little B&B with Wonderful Owners!"
Despite our midnight arrival Antonio welcomed us at the gates and was ready to check us in. He showed us to our rooms, provided us with the WiFi password and ensured we knew where everything was located for the buffet breakfast offered. The next day (when we were slightly more awake) he gave us a list of places to visit and showed us the easiest routes on the map of Rome. Everything was so easily accessible on foot (with the Vatican museum only minutes away!) however there is a metro stop close by if preferred. Amalia had emailed me her mobile number before departing and always encouraged us to whatsapp her with any questions or queries throughout our stay.

"Classy and hospitable with great comfort"
our last stay here was in 2010 and even after 6 years it remains classy and elegant. However there was some wear in the loveseat cushions. That was the only noticeable lack of elegance. The dining room is comfortable and food quality high. We were just disappointed that we were not able to dine at Le Pergola again since it was fully booked for a month. Reserving some spots for hotel guests would be appreciated in future. The staff is accommodating and pleasant. The quiet of the rooms Is appreciated. The free Daily shuttle service to Barberini is an excellent feature for accessibility to the city sights.

"Fantastic Customer Service, Location & Room!"
The two owners of this guesthouse are fantastic. They speak fluent english and cater to your every need with much patience and detail. The location is within minutes of Vatican City and within minutes of the metro station that will take you to all other main attractions in under 30 minutes. There are plenty of well priced restaurants with good quality Italian food that are within metres of the guesthouse. The room is perfect - clean, comfortable and spacious. Highly recommended to all those who are visiting the city of Rome to experience the city in all its cultural beauty without spending an unnecessary amount on a hotel.

"Amenities a bit misleading, decent for the price"
This is a nice place to stay for the money. The pictures are accurate. It is very close walking distance to the main entrance to the Vatican. The amenities are definitely not what are listed. There isn't a "rooftop terrace" (the guy who checked me in literally didn't know what I was talking about). It isn't actually a hotel OR a B&B, and they don't have room service. There's no coffee shop or cafe (unless you count the one up the block, closed on Sundays), no "front desk", no luggage storage (unless you count leaving your luggage in the common area, which I did), and everything but the rooms were built WAY before 2013. It is half of a floor of mixed offices/apartments, they have turned one unit into a few rental rooms. This is common in Italy, and is in no way meant to be a detriment. There's no office or desk, you go up to the floor that they are on and buzz in. You then go to the kitchen/common area (closed at night) to fill out paperwork. The room I had was nice, and had a small balcony with chairs (a rarity in Rome, most aren't big enough to stand on). You can smoke on the balcony. The bathroom was decent (and had a bidet), the shower had a bit of mold and was a bit small . . . but again very serviceable for the price. The rooms are nice and a bit eclectic, and the bed was comfortable. It had A/C, which is not a given in Italy. I say it isn't a B&B because it doesn't resemble or act like one. There is a tiny breakfast in the kitchen if you pay extra.

Trionfale is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Trionfale, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Trionfale hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
