Hotel is beautiful just two mins from the islands. Still very new and really clean. Staff wasn't very attentive we requested a pack and play upon arrival and we never got one. Also went downstairs at one point to buy something from shop and staff member was asleep in the lobby couch. Otherwise freat hotel and great breakfast!

The room was very large. It had a Jacuzzi near the King Sized bed. It had a Flat screen with many channels. The bathroom was small with a tub and a shower but it had a vanity in the 'Living Room' that made up for that. It had plenty of space, a fire place a couch and plenty of places to put your suitcases. It had a chest of drawers and a refrigerator. The breakfasts were great. There was plenty of food. I was early spring so the pool was closed.

This hotel is centrally situated to the Gatlinburg strip. The beds are comfortable but what passes as pillows will wish you brought your own.
It has a nice bar and the meanest bartender in the Gatlinburg area. While I sympathize that Cara has worked 180 hours in a week, being mean to me just reduces the tip that she's going to get.
The office staff was wonderful and checking in and out was flawless.

Nice clean newly renovated hotel. Nice breakfast but unless you're there before 7am there's no place to sit. Parking was tough as the spots are too small for anything other than a Prius but you can live with that. About a block off the main road so under 5 min walk to the center of town. Big clean room. Would stay there again.

I read the reviews before booking the hotel and I have to say that the hotel lived up to all of the great things that people said about it. I have nothing negative to say about the hotel or the staff and service. Everything was top notch. The staff greeted us each time that we passed by the counter. The breakfast was awesome! Loved the biscuits and gravy. I just can't say enough about the great staff. Everyone that we talked to or encountered on the staff were pleasant and friendly. They seamed like a family there. Would definitely stay here again or recommend to friends or family that were looking to stay in the Pigeon Forge area. Hated to leave!

One of three gateways to Great Smoky Mountains National Park (the other two being Gatlinburg and Cherokee), Townsend fares well due to the tourist industry. Yet the small town is much more low-key than Gatlinburg or several other cities close to the national park, with its hotels and restaurants catering to tourists on a budget . It is also home to businesses geared toward outdoor enthusiasts.
