"Decent stay...still needs work."
I was worried after booking this hotel because I read some reviews that said the pictures were different than reality. This is somewhat true. Pros: I booked for a group of coworkers and 4 of the 5 rooms we had were newly remodeled. I was even upgraded to the Penthouse level. My room was huge, with brand new furnishings in every room except the bathroom. Having a kitchen with a Keurig and dishwasher was a great convenience, being there for a week. The king size bed was also very comfortable. Cons: Timing a business trip the week of Caribana wasnt ideal...nobody likes getting woken up at 3am by drunk people. The fridge made an incessant ticking noise that sounded like a time bomb, which often kept me up at night. There were some cracked tiles in the kitchen, that hurt if you stepped on them. My air conditioner didn't seem I work to cool down the room like I wanted. The hot water in the shower had a mind of its own...i'd set a temperature but when I was in the shower, could feel the water temp vary from surges of scalding hot to drops to ice cold. And the bathroom, in comparison to the rest of the updated furnishings, seemed old and dingy with a tiny toilet. Finally, I thought there was a fitness consisted of one treadmill and one exercise bicycle. They promoted the use of a Crossfit on property but wanted to charge you $15 a day. Overall, it wasn't too bad, but make sure you try and ask for one of the newer rooms. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

Le Germain Hotel Maple Leaf Square

75 Bremner Blvd, Toronto - Map
"Beautiful rooms, prime location"
The hotel (Maple leaf square) is in a prime location, close to the ACC, union station, walking distance to financial district and easy walk down to the quay. Cannot say enough about how friendly and hospitable the hotel staff was. The rooms are beautiful, and I had an amazing view of the CN tower. Only drawbacks are that it gets loud at night due to traffic/honking, and there's no pool at the hotel. Stayed here for 13 nights - will definitely be staying here again!

    Explore Toronto

Canada’s largest city has a reputation for being nice – good-natured and unpretentious, with a sly sense of humor. There’s some truth to that stereotype, but it’s only half the picture. Toronto is incredibly diverse, a polyglot city where recent immigrants make up nearly half the population.

It bustles with international business, lively neighborhoods and a vibrant arts scene. Dining in Toronto is a revelation. Foodie enclaves like Ossington and Leslieville are red hot, but don’t miss the authentic ethnic eateries of Chinatown, Little India and Greektown.

Check out the expansive view from the CN Tower – or, if you’re truly daring, try Edge Walk, a thrilling, hands-free journey around the outside! Explore the Distillery Historic District, arty Queen Street West or upscale shopping area Bloor-Yorkville. Stroll the boardwalk in the quaint Beaches or hop a ferry to the peaceful, car-free Toronto Islands. Everything is awesome for kids at the Legoland Discovery Centre, while hockey fans can touch the actual Stanley Cup at the Hockey Hall of Fame. Beauty, eh?
