First time at this hotel for our annual girls night. Great hotel, friendly staff, great buffet breakfast and amazing rooftop patio with 2 hot tubs and a screen playing music videos in the evening. Great location.... Within walking distance to the St Lawrence Market and the Distillery District. Already planning our next stay ( with our husbands).

"Favourite place to stay"
Fairmont Royal York is a favourite of ours when travelling to Toronto for concerts/games at the Air Canada Centre. It is within a 5min walk to the venue. We took the UP train (25 min) from Pearson Airport and it ends at Union Station which is in front of the Fairmont Hotel.

"A gem in downtown Toronto!"
Great hotel at a very reasonable price. We walked to and from the Air Canada Centre for a Springsteen concert. The next morning we walked to Billy Bishop airport for our flight home. Ocho is within walking distance of Chinatown, Kensington Market etc. We are a couple of 60 year olds who like to walk the streets of cities we visit. We also like to stay in boutique type hotels. In our future visits we will definitely stay at Ocho.

    Explore Toronto

Canada’s largest city has a reputation for being nice – good-natured and unpretentious, with a sly sense of humor. There’s some truth to that stereotype, but it’s only half the picture. Toronto is incredibly diverse, a polyglot city where recent immigrants make up nearly half the population.

It bustles with international business, lively neighborhoods and a vibrant arts scene. Dining in Toronto is a revelation. Foodie enclaves like Ossington and Leslieville are red hot, but don’t miss the authentic ethnic eateries of Chinatown, Little India and Greektown.

Check out the expansive view from the CN Tower – or, if you’re truly daring, try Edge Walk, a thrilling, hands-free journey around the outside! Explore the Distillery Historic District, arty Queen Street West or upscale shopping area Bloor-Yorkville. Stroll the boardwalk in the quaint Beaches or hop a ferry to the peaceful, car-free Toronto Islands. Everything is awesome for kids at the Legoland Discovery Centre, while hockey fans can touch the actual Stanley Cup at the Hockey Hall of Fame. Beauty, eh?
