Had a great time at Sandman Signature Toronto airport. Shuttle service was excellent and everyone was friendly. The brunches at Moxies were first class and I don’t have a single thing to complain about. Would recommend the hotel to anyone.

Amazing place to stay, great service, good restaurant attached to the hotel. Only downside is the pool and hot tub area don't open until 9 am. Also, bring all you need for in your room as stores are a few minute drive away but aside from that i would definitely recommend and will stay again next time I'm in the area

We booked a room with queen bed and a queen couch pullout. I indicated three occupants on the booking. The hotel neglected to makeup the pullout - I had to ask for it. A couple days in, we did not get a replacement dishtowel in the room refresh and when we asked for that and some extra bath towels as well as some extra toilet paper, they only provided one of the three items... we had to ask again. The room and bathroom was dusty on most ledges. The windows had hand and forehead prints which I cleaned myself as I like to enjoy the view. I think they need a bit more attention to detail with the cleaning. We stayed 9 nights and the first 3 of those, the police were out front dealing with disturbances - one of those nights also required paramedics. This was disturbing and especially that the hotel did not clean the bloodstain right outside the main entrance. The front desk staff were very accommodating when in "reactive" mode, but I think there is some communication breakdown between the desk and house keeping. I normally stay at a hotel closer to the airport but this trip I decided to book us here to try it out. I am debating if I should return. I expressed my concerns about housekeeping. I received an apology and a reaction limited to fixing the issue. When I mentioned I did not feel good about the police presence for 3 straight nights, I was simply told "there is nothing wrong with the hotel and the police are there to protect you"... and no compensation was offered.

So disappointed in this stay. I had high hopes as it looked nice. But from moment of check-in, there were consistent issues. The shuttle they offer for the free airport service was not as it seems. We approached the driver at the hotel to get on, and he said we needed to book at the front desk. But front desk told us otherwise, and it went back and forth. We ended up missing what we were going to do and had to take another form of transit which was one big reason why I stayed here in the first place. Then the Internet did not work. 4 devices, all had issues. I was in for work, so again, chose this hotel due to the business features. Front desk just said it should work and offered no help Finally I decided to try the hotel hot tub only to learn it was broken and the pool area was very dirty/dark with no seating and 2 wet towels left. Needless to say, I went elsewhere and left early.

I paid so much money as I was travelling all the way from Lake Louise Alberta to visit family for 6 days. Turns out the room was small nothing like the picture advertised. The worst was the smell of cigarettes made me unable to breath and on top the fact that no one comes to clean your room that’s crazy. I’ve stayed at many hotels and I guess this was the worst experience so much money paid for a piece of garbage room. Smelly small and curtain had a burnt hole on it. Will never be going to sandman again that’s for sure. It gave just an upgraded MOTEL vibe not even a hotel.
