"Nice hotel centrally located"
Our concern was that, with the hotel location being beside Charing Cross Station, it may be too noisy or rowdy. Fears went immediately on entering the beautiful hotel. No outside sounds were noticeable. On entry we were met by a friendly young man who immediately offered us bottled water "to refresh uoubafter your journey here". Nice touch! Facilities were excellent & very welcoming. The bedroom was spacious and the shower toilet was made fern and clean. There was even a free non-alcoholic mini bar in the room which was constantly topped up with milk, water, crisps and biscuits. We even had a Nespresso coffee machine with 3 coffee-type options! On checking out we were again offered bottled water for our journey home. Trafalgar Square, the centre of all London attractions is just across the road. Reaching the start of every other big attraction is easily within 2 to 15 minutes walk! A fantastic experience all round - one of the best (& we have been going to London at least annually for 10 years!).

It was a delight to stay in Room 758 the evening of 12/13 January 2017. A lovely view out of the window and everything in the room fine. The evening butler that attended us was called Mihai. I have not dined in a hotel for 10 years due to fear of eating food with chicken's egg yoke in it. That changed on the evening of the 12th. A lunch of jacket potatoes, corn , Brussel sprouts was served in my room. It tasted delicious and I had every confidence that the hotel would try and reduce any risk of egg. The next day the butler James made coffee for my wife Sally using the machine in the room . She was chuffed to be served by James. Thank you.

"Impeccable service and decor"
In the heart of London, modern and jaw dropping design. The Aura Team were amazing, Sam and Sara in customer service, George on the front door - overall staff experience was second to none. Very happy with my visit and would definitely be going back.

"Ideally located hotel"
Stayed here for a weekend break, didn't regret my choice at all. A very comfortable and well appointed hotel with great facilities and an excellent roof top cocktail bar. The staff were all welcoming, polite and professional, from check-in, room service and maid service. The room was as advertised, spacious and all the facilities you need for a comfortable stay.

"Fab apartment in the heart of Covent Garden"
Lovely, modern, clean apartment in excellent location in Central London. Extra glazing to make it quiet and block out the road noise means it's very very hot inside in the summer though, and could do with air conditioning!

"Great location"
I wanted a bed for the night, near to Covent Garden but didn't want to pay £350 plus that all the hotels nearby where charging. The room is very well equipped with a kitchen and sitting room. It was nice to have access to running drinking water instead of paying £5 a bottle that is usually charged by hotels! Pros: location - very quiet but right on the Strand. 5 minute walk from Temple tube. 5 mins to Covent Garden (but don't use google maps to find the apartments - they send you to the wrong place! Search for the Marconi building instead) Very modern room with state of the art music and lighting system. Kitchen and ironing board. Cons: Bed is only queen size - a king size would be better and there was the room for this, so I don't know why they didn't put one in.

The Strand is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in The Strand, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your The Strand hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
