"Nice boutique hotel in great neighborhood"
I arrived late on the day of the Boston Marathon, so the street outside the hotel, the lobby and the bar were teeming with people in a celebratory mood. My check-in was quick and efficient. The room was attractive though small, and very neat and clean. This was my first trip to Boston, and I had only two days. But I managed to see the highlights. It's really a pretty compact, walkable city. And I enjoy visiting historical sites, and there are plenty to see in Boston!

"Fantastic Location and Amazing Views of Boston"
For some unknown reason, I was upgraded to a suite on the 11th floor overlooking the Boston Garden. WOW!! The view was spectacular. The room was large and comfortable. I didn't use any of the restaurants but the location was perfect (I had business a few blocks away) and the staff was very helpful.

"Great hotel a few blocks from the finish line!"
Great location and hotel, friendly staff and close to the train station and great restaurants and shops as well and most important for me, the finish line of the marathon.

"Gorgeous hotel with superb accommodations."
I traveled with my one year-old to Boston and was nervous about traveling with the baby. The Boston Harbor employees eased my worries, provided a crib free of charge, even supplied extra diaper wipes, a diaper and baby soap just for my son. When we checked out the man at the front desk gave my son a stuffed animal. Everyone from the doorman to the cleaning ladies were great. I strongly recommend this hotel (if you can afford it, that's my only negative- it was pricey)

"Boston Convention"
The hotel staff were very nice and accommodating. Room service was too expensive but that is the price you pay for convenience. The only downside was the fire alarm at 0600 on the day I was checking out.

"Downtown refuge."
One door appropriately said Godfrey talented staff only. The room was spacious. The items in the room were first class. In 3 nights, I never heard a noise from outside the room except for the occasional early morning passage of a large truck and I appreciated the quiet. I would give my room the highest rating if not for the following: There was a shower only. That is ok with me because I prefer a shower over a bath. The closet was like a bookshelf in the room, a stand alone cabinet. It contained an ironing board, an umbrella and only enough room to hang a few clothes. This was a bit inconvenient because there was not a dresser in the room. Space for clothing was only available in a cabinet that reminded me of a chest freezer. You would have to pile all your clothes on top of each other to utilize the space. There was a small storage space beneath the TV stand and a shelf in the top of the clothes cabinet. There was only one chair in the room. I liked the hotel, the staff, the location and I would not hesitate to book there again.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
