Took shuttle to go see football game. Mid ride to the game driver told us she's not able to come back for us and we should uber. Left game early to make sure uber driver a available, first driver canceled, next one not available for 30 min. Uber not hotels fault but the hotel shuttle driver not coming back is a problem.

"Nice and secluded. Walking distance to Bahama Br.."
I like that the room is secluded and there is not a hotel hallway to walk through. Pool was good for me. Pool towels were a for like a baby's size. They took my pool towel when they cleaned the room :( Bed was not great, and carpet was really dirty. Tv went in and out. Hard to watch. Breakfast not good, but there was white toast and some options such as butter and cream cheese. Seemed like a quiet area and I felt safe even though I was alone. Hotel staff was nice.

We stayed one night (wish we stayed longer) for a Tampa Bay Bucs game (15 minutes away). The main reason we chose this hotel was the acceptance of pets without a fee for traveling with our furry friends. This was huge to us and has gained a repeat customer due to the dog policy. The rest of the hotel met and exceeded our expectations. I really enjoyed the gym which has a great selection of newer equipment including free weights. The indoor pool was clean and quiet. The private beach although only the size of the back of the property was also peaceful and appreciated. Our next stay we're going to rent a boat or jet ski which are also located at the rear of the property. My only negative comment would be the breakfast buffet which was a little pricey for me. At $19.95 per person times a family of 5 we waited to checkout before eating. All in all the place is a great stay and I'd recommend it.

Hotel held funds out of 2 accounts and although they said they would release it they never did. Housekeeping so so but other than these inconveniences overall trip was good. Great location for the price. Awesome
view from deck!

I had never been to Tampa and booked the hotel for proximity to HCC College, where my son was starting as an International Student. La Quinta became a home away from home during my 2 week stay. The staff was very friendly and efficient, the room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. The building is old and dated, but the decor was tasteful. Breakfast was good, but became monotonous due to the length of stay. I really liked parking outside my room, and the fact that there were several restaurants in walking distance. The location was convenient for shopping, car rental, and proximity to where I needed to be. My only complaint was the lack of laundry facilities on site, a real must for an extended stay anywhere.
