We flew in from Thailand in the evening and stayed at this hotel in the airpirt: so very convenient as we were flying out again the next day. The bed was fabulous and the room very comfortable. The front desk staff was very helpful as well. We will stay here again.

I chose this hotel based on price and value for the area. I have stayed at many Day's Inns before and have Dr the most part been pretty good.
Parking was easy, getting in and out was a breeze, the room was big enough, the staff were super nice, and the location was amazing.
Time to update the bedding. Some stains haven't come out and one had a cigarette hole. Ground floor unit in an old building with laminate flooring was very cold. The room had a heater but it constantly blew heat. When waking up my nose was so dry and had dry blood. It took a day to not feel the effects of the blowing heater. The room would be amazing in the hot summer. Guaranteed it would be nice and cool.
Shampoo but no conditioner.
Would I stay agin? Maybe. It was great value but it would depend on situation and mood. I can tell you my wife would not based on her standards which is completely understandable.

Lonsdale Quay Hotel was a good deal for the sale price we got through Expedia. It was comfortable, had a good atmosphere, was right in the quay so we stepped out of the elevator right into a quaint mall full of interesting shops and we had excellent access to public transportation. The staff were, without exception...excellent. We asked for a room with a view of the harbour but "sale price" rooms were not on harbour side. However, they did their best for us and gave us a side view of the harbour which was lovely. The sink didn't drain and a repair man was there in less than five minutes. Problem solved. All were helpful and friendly. And...Good breakfast! There were only 2 negatives...you have to take the seabus to get anywhere in Vancouver proper and the bathroom wasn't the cleanest, with a dirty ring around the bath tub. Other than that...we had a great stay.

The hotel staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. There were two TV shows filming on each side of the building the night I stayed here. The staff were very apologetic and made sure everyone was aware of the expected shutdown times of each crew depending what side of the building you were staying on.
Try to get a room on any floor other than the main one, as there is a section of the hotel that appears to be just above a bar/cafe/restaurant. The night I stayed here there was some sort of gathering directly beneath us and it was quite loud all throughout the night.
