Front desk staff were friendly. Check in and check out was fast and easy. Had a poolside room, it was very clean and looks like they have done some upgrades since I had stayed a few years ago. The pool area is nice, kids loved it. The hot tub is nice too. The hotel is a little bit of a walk to the strip but I didn't mind that. Overall we all enjoyed our stay and will stay here again in the future.

Experience was overall positive. Hotel is undergoing renovations, but that was only minimally inconvenient. They rooms were modest, but clean. Bathroom recently nicely remodeled. For what we paid, this definitely exceeded my expectations and would gladly stay here again!

This hotel is centrally situated to the Gatlinburg strip. The beds are comfortable but what passes as pillows will wish you brought your own.
It has a nice bar and the meanest bartender in the Gatlinburg area. While I sympathize that Cara has worked 180 hours in a week, being mean to me just reduces the tip that she's going to get.
The office staff was wonderful and checking in and out was flawless.

The place looks to be a bit older but overall was still in decent shape. The best thing about it is that it is close to the heart of Gatlinburg so a short walk to get to all the many things to see and do. The staff were very nice, but the breakfast was a bit of a disappointment. I would stay here for the location, but if you really want breakfast you'll probably better off buying something from a nearby restaurant. Last thing, we only stayed here for a little while since there was a problem with the pipes while we were there. We never even had a problem but the staff informed us and helped us get spots inside another nearby hotel without a problem and at no extra cost so that was pretty nice. Overall I would recommend this hotel if you would like to spend some time in Gatlinburg.

We felt like the mattresses were uncomfortable.......might help if they turn them or something....felt like everyone laid on the same side and that you just sunk down into the mattress. Loved sitting out on the balcony on the river view side......saw all kinds of nice little critters......geese...ducks, turtle...even saw a squirrel. Overall nice stay.
