The hotel is getting "tired". Beds need replacing, and although clean, the rooms aren't really what you'd call "fresh and up to date".
The on-site restaurant (Blue Tequila mexican restaurant) was closed for renovation, and a Huddle House is being built. These amenities will be nice, but unless the rooms improve, the hotel isn't highly likely to get my continued business.

Overall, the hotel was what I expected. Most bad reviews seem to be about the smaller rooms, we stayed in the Roman Tower Suite and everything was clean with some updates. They really need to up their food quality and drink selections. The restaurant was ok, the food was kind of bland. It was food my parents or grandparents would like, not much so for a newer generation of diners who expect better for their money.

This hotel is older but very nice. The food in the gastric pub was delicious. The staff were very accommodating and pleasant. The Shawnee inn is close to Bushkill Falls and other outdoor activities. We went hiking and Zip-lining. The inn has a camp fire every night with s'mores. We had a great time.

BW is very close to camelbeach and the outlet mall. It's equipped with a pool and gym and serves a decent free breakfast! Aside from not being able to check in earlier we didn't have any other complaints.
