This hotel is a good value for the proximity to the campus and is in the heart of downtown Kent. Hotel overall was clean, comfortable, and the staff was helpful and courteous. Continental breakfast was more than I imagined it would be including a lot of fresh fruit. Parking was in public parking lot across the street to the hotel and was not too difficult to utilize. Was a good experience.

Was grateful for a nice staff, a clean place to stay and a comfortable room as well. My only complaint would be that the room smelled like smoke and it was a non-smoking room. Other than that, I have nothing but praise for the place based on the cost.

"For us, it was central to the family we were visit"
As you know we booked two rooms, the two issues that we had was, one, the room with two beds only got cleaned twice, once because there was one bag on the bed, the other Because they were in the room. We were in our room too but they came back and cleaned ours. The second issue was around 3 am on the final night there were people running up and down the hallway on the 3rd floor being really loud, loud enough to to wake us up.
The staff was wonderful, the lobby and rooms were clean and the pool area was great for the grandkids to let off some built up energy! We even had a pizza party in the breakfast area one evening that was fun!

First, checking in was easy. We reiterated that we needed a crib for our infant, and one was provided at no cost. The maintenance guy who made the delivery was very nice and made it clear that it was no problem to contact him should we need anything else. The beds were comfortable, the room of decent size, and the WIFI worked well. Once settled in, we had a difficult time getting the baby to stay asleep. The noise in the hallway from doors latching to people talking resonated in our room awaking him. To compound this noise, we were put in the room across the elevator which created more noise from all the people coming and going. We got around much of this noise by turning the room fan to auto and leaving the vent fan on in the bathroom to drown out the sounds. I also used the white noise app on my tablet to help. I am not a light sleeper, but for those who are, the vibrations of movement either in the rooms around you or in the hallway while you are bed may have an impact on your sleep. Also, the bottom panel on the heating unit was off and on the floor exposing the electronic wires to our crawling baby. And there wasn't a view of anything outside our window other than the siding of the next unit several feet away.
