"Fantastic location, good hotel at reasonable price"
2 night stay to see concert and various Stratford treasures. Due to hotel location we were able to park in the hotel car park (£5 per day) and not move until we left. Very decent, clean room and friendly staff. Ate out in evenings but breakfast was good.

Overall a nice stay...
+ Wifi free and works fine
+ Close to town 10 min walk
+ Room has a fridge, Iron, Hair Dryer something that I usually find missing around hotels these days
- Parking £5 a day... Cheeky I thought considering your paying over £100 to stay a night...So when comparing hotel prices make sure you calculate that....
- Spa facilities are across the road at a neighbouring hotel..nice pool decent gym but Sauna and Steam Room Tiny
When comparing prices I may as well stayed at the neighbouring one it would have been easier...the décor also looked better than this one.

Easy walk into Stratford on Avon but the room was a hike from reception. Nice large room when we got there, basic bathroom amenities, i.e. no body lotion but shampoo and bath gel. Comfortable extra large bed.

We had a very pleasant one night stay at this hotel. It is not the most modern of places, one of those with lots of windy corridors, but importantly it was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable, with generous tea/coffee/biscuits - a bit like other places used to be before they needed to make savings. We had a problem with the hairdryer in the morning, called down to reception, and they provided a replacement within a few minutes. We didn't use the bar / restaurant. We thought the £3 / night parking charge was reasonable considering the excellent location. We think we got a pretty good deal on here so the above is on the basis of that deal.

My wife and I loved everything about this inn except unfortunately our room. The room was certainly OK, but it felt dated and the bathroom had a hint of a musty smell. The breakfast was great and the pub/dining area downstairs was adorable and the staff were very kind. The most important factors in choosing this inn were the price and convenient location close to Stratford-upon-Avon, and it served our purposes wonderfully well.

Hotel staff: the manager should be extremely proud of them, they were excellent.
The bed: hmmm!! It was a single and what appeared to be a fold up bed put together which was a little uncomfortable.
Room was clean.... Just the bed was a problem.
We used the hotel as a stopping point returning from our holiday in Cornwall back home to Yorkshire.

William Shakespeare gets top billing in this Tudor town; the Bard's early and family life are on display at Shakespeare's Birthplace and Anne Hathaway's cottage. Visitors should take the opportunity to attend a performance of the Royal Shakespeare Company at its recently revitalized flagship theatre. Make sure to view the River Avon, the town's other star attraction.
