Actually, the property, room and service was very good but the invoice did not match the quote from Expedia, which is disappointing given Expedia says their quote is the total costs one should expect. Skamania Lodge started charging a $15/day plus taxes parking fee, which is unusual for a non-urban property with more than enough surface parking available. This parking charge looks like what Expedia missed in their quote.

All amenities we could think of were included! Bonus to have robes to go to the pool/spa. Really enjoyed the hot tub/pool. Coffee in the morning was great. The hiking trails on the property were so nice. Even with 3 big events and two seasonal events, it was so easy to navigate to lodge, didn’t feel like too many people. All around pleasant stay.

I paid for an upgraded room with a larger view of the river and a fireplace, the room was clean and had a very comfortable bed. I do think it was overpriced for the room, but the grounds were very nice and I loved the trails around the golf course. Food was just ok at their restaurant (and sampled quite a bit). I expected better for spending over $200 for dinner for two people. Spa needs a revamp as well but overall a nice weekend and the people that work there are very kind and helpful.

We unfortunately got a room next to a mechanical room and had a buzzing vibration all night. Room ad some dirty carpet areas that were not vacuumed or dusted. Gym equipment not maintained. Men's sauna not heated enough. Everything else was ok.

Been coming here for many years. It’s still our go to but more and more corporate. The ditched the wood burning fireplace and comfy chairs years ago…sad. Rooms are refreshed. Hot tub is a winner and pool area also refreshed. Can’t beat the views and proximity to the gorge falls. A good family spot for sure.
