This 3* hotel was fine for our overnight before flying from Luton Airport..about 10 minutes drive away. Rooms are small but have everything you need. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We ate in the hotel restaurant...small menu but enough choice and cooked well. The restaurant and bar are just off the lobby so it's not especially private but again perfect for a 1 night stay.

"Exceptional Customer Service at the Village Hotel!"
The reception staff at the Village were so helpful and pleasant, nothing was too much for them.
The hotel is still very busy but has a really good atmosphere, and the facilities were perfect for my stay , which included a Starbucks, a first class gymnasium and two good restaurants. The room was very nice with Sky TV included which was a real bonus!

The hotel is in a Good location and the staff were nice.
Stayed for a few hours but enjoyed the room that it is in a historical building.
We arrived after midnight and I had to pay a £20 fee for the attendant to wait for us.

I asked 3 times to change the light bold on two consecutive days but it has not been fixed. On my last night (out of 4 nights) I was finally moved to a much newer and improved room which was much nicer, was comfortable and had a light above the sink. I wished I had been given that room before...

Stevenage was the first of the post-war new towns to be built and also led the way in town planning by having the first pedestrianized town center. The old town dates back to Saxon times and nearby Knebworth House has become famous for hosting major rock concerts featuring the likes of Robbie Williams, Oasis, and Led Zeppelin.
