Great city location & friendly helpful reception. I took a petit queen room, petit being the key word. Fortunately I was alone and would have been more comfortable if the queen bed was replaced with a single bed. Two people could not share this room.
The $100 deposit was immediately charged to my credit card but 48 hours later, am still waiting for it to be refunded to the card.

We stayed for one night. The approach to the Hyatt hotel, via Terrace Road entrance is dismal to say the least. Although, I appreciate this area may not be under the control of the hotel itself. However, the central reception area also appeared poorly lit and quite chilly, adding to the uninspiring first impression.
The room was well appointed, very clean and comfortable. Although we had no option but to listen to the reception area piano player's two and a half hour session during the afternoon, even through we were on the fifth floor. We were also woken at midnight by music and again at 1am by shouting and noise from guests at a function in one of the ballrooms on the ground floor. Someone even began playing the Chopsticks on the piano at this time. Just surprised that it was so noisy. I understand a refurbishment is imminent. Wait until it's done before you stay, it's currently underwhelming considering it's rating.

Myself and my partner stayed at the hotel overnight whilst watching a show at the casino. The hotel was beautiful, clean, comfortable and we had an amazing view of the Swan River. It was also very reasonably priced!

"Only stayed for one night but would do it again. "
Check in was very slow because only one person was at front desk. He was very friendly and organised and he got us sorted within minutes. Valet parking was great too. Happy hour at the pool in the middle of the day was very welcome and the barman was really helpful. Room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Hotel had a good vibe with plenty going on. It's in a great location and surrounded with plenty to do for all the family. The pool area is very nice with plenty of beds and shade.

Lying south of the Swan River, South Perth provides good views towards downtown and plenty of walking and cycling tracks along its foreshore, much of which comprises Sir James Mitchell Park. South Perth also includes the areas of Kensington and popular Como Beach, and is home to the charming Perth Zoo.
