Overall we enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Great location, near restaurants and the sonoma wine trolley. Breakfast was included, with lots of choice. Only negative is that our room had a bit of a stale odour.

This is the 4th time we have stayed at Eldorado Hotel. In general, it has a nice feel and is conveniently located. This is the first time we've been placed in the back part of the hotel (a small 4 unit building near the pool). If offered this location, ask to be in the main building!!! Otherwise, you'll have an uncomfortable small room, and will generally enter/exit through the kitchen and housekeeping back of house.

Had a Wonderful stay at the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn. The valet/bell guys are all friendly and happy to assist you. Even gave us complimentary champagne upon arrival. As for the desk receptionist, she did say the our room would be ready before 4pm and it wasn't! They said that we would receive a text when our room was ready and we did NOT. Besides that, everything else was amazing! We hope to come back soon!

We were there during several days of monsoon rains, which made using the pleasant enclosed patio impossible. The parking area had big puddles that drained slowly, making getting to and from our car a challenge. The room was fine, about what we expected from the Expedia description. It's an older hotel with minimum staff, but the room was cheerful.

Enjoyed the 2 days that we spent at the Vineyard Inn Hotel. The rooms were like stepping back in time, although extremely clean and comfortable. The only negative was that the hotel sat on a very busy and somewhat noisey thoroughfare.

We only stayed here for one night, so we're planning to come back for our wedding anniversary and stay longer - that's how much we like it here. The Inn is fairly old which gives it a nice peaceful ambience - they have a wine and cheese event in the Library at 5 pm and a lovely fire to sit by and sip your wine. The books there can be borrowed if you're there long enough to read them! The staff are extremely helpful - we stayed there for Valentine's Day and they were able to give us some restaurant suggestions, despite the fact they have a restaurant, named Saddles, on the premises which had a Special for that evening - or we could have had our meal served in the room! My husband was startled when they came into our room to provide a 'turn down' service and handed him a small packet of candy with some chocolates for Valentine's. They had a card on the table with the weather details which was a nice touch! We stayed in one of the many houses on the site - very restful! It's a relaxed walk to the downtown area and there's Free parking on site.

You'll find it hard to believe that Ledson Hotel was only built in 1999; we did. We loved the feeling of old wood & stone, flickering firelight, beautiful wrought iron balcony, luxurious bathroom & even more decadently designed bathtub as a setting for staying in the very middle of historic Sonoma. The room made us want to extend our stay by a week, go buy an armload of books from the Church Mouse & spend a long couple of days cocooned in this room, reading, napping & emerging only long enough to hit the pastries & coffee & get take-out from any of the yummy restaurants ringing the square.

This was our second stay at Inn at Sonoma and, once again, it was excellent. The rooms and beds are so comfy and quiet and the breakfast is as good or better than you can get at a restaurant on the Square. The proximity to the Square is perfect for strolling around town, too. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. We'll be back!

In California's wine country, Sonoma revives the senses with spas, wine tasting, top-rated restaurants, and scenic countryside. Vineyards on rolling hills literally sparkle with silver streamers designed to deter birds. Historic sites from the 1800s include Lachryma Montis, the 20-acre estate of General Mariano Guadalupe Vallejo, and the Sonoma Mission, on downtown's charming eight-acre plaza.
