The overall rating of the hotel may be justified, but my wife and I had a bad experience recently. Our hall was very noisy. Kids running, doors slamming, loud talking and yelling. Had to confront other occupants twice and report problem to front desk clerk. She attempted to address the problem but was mostly ineffective. Just when it seemed to have settled down, our phone rang. Must have been a prank call because there was no response when I answered. Then a noisy group came in from a late dinner. That was the last straw. It was almost 11:00 p.m. and we were exhausted, but we decided to check out and make the two-hour drive home. Staff was very helpful in finding my wedding ring. Discovered it was missing after leaving the hotel.

This was my first stay but I have fished the pier many times. If you are there to fish this is the place for you! Not a lot of amenities like other motels but it is super clean, staff is very nice, and it close to the action! Everything I needed for the whole weekend was just a few steps away. Good food, fishing and the beach , how can it get any better?
