One and a half blocks to the lovely beach and just as close to "the strip" with shopping and restaurants. Small beach town. Hotel was cute with a small pool. Many rooms face the small pool so there is a bit of noise from pool goers but not terrible (except late night there were a few drunk loud people one night). Room is on the small side and at times a bit too tight but comfortable enough. All new amenities in the room. It was like a small apartment. Comfortable bed. A great little place close to the beach. Bikes available included with the room as well as your own beach chairs. Cool little place. Nice staff.

We had a very nice stay but be advised that beachside management has a few properties and its hard to distinguish from the expedia ads that they are different. Many of the pics used are common and not all the amenities are available at all properties. FYI, Ice machine, pool, hammocks, games, drinks are only at the main property but listed as an amenities where we stayed. We had to walk down the street if we wanted to use these amenities. They had a laundry, but no soap available. Beach chairs but no umbrellas. At the property we stayed at the garbage in the court yard was overfilled our whole stay. The bungalow was nice and cozy but was in need of many small repairs like peeling paint, rotted sheetrock in bathroom, open and not working electric outlets. floor tiles were badly chipped. No mirror or windows in the bedroom. Also our room was advertised as a gulf view room but you had to go outside and stand in the road to see the gulf. We paid more for this feature. The main property was where it was happening and it seamed like ours was just forgotten and poorly attended to. On the good note, the location was awesome a minute walk to the beach and 2 minutes to the village. Also the staff was very nice and attentive to our needs. I would stay again but on the main property.

We didn’t care for the room we originally booked. The staff changed the room with no problems. We were happy with the change. It was nice to be within walking distance to town and an easy drive to the public beach.
