"The staff was world class!"
We celebrated our 30th wedding no anniversary and arranged for a private room in the basement. It was private, gorgeous and had that old world charm. A fantastic night!

"Great Stay in Siena"
We stayed 2 nights at the Hotel Italia and had an great experience! The hotel is located close to the train station and approximately 1 km from the center of Siena. The hotel itself was well appointed and cared for and the staff was excellent. The room was very clean, quiet and well serviced by the daily room staff. The breakfast that came with our stay was fantastic! The only downside for us was the bed was on the hard side for our taste. Given this is a personal preference I would not let that sway me from staying at the hotel again.

"Good location great breakfast."
Ideal location walking distance to buses and Duomo and piazza Campo. Room was clean, and promptly cleaned each day. Bed was comfy but pillows were too soft. The bells of the church chime at 7am so we didn't need an alarm. Breakfast was amazing all you could want, loved the hard boiled eggs and chocolate cake was incredible. Fresh fruit was also available. We spent five days there and toured for two it was enough to see everything.

"Nice getaway"
Hotel is located about 10-15 mins away from the Centre of Siena. There are busses to take you there, but we chose to drive. There was free parking onsite which was definitely a bonus. The hotel facilities were great! There's a gym & sauna on site, along with a bar. The room was spacious and the beds comfortable. Wifi was probably the best we've had in Italy so far! Breakfast consisted of cereals & muesli, bacon & eggs, pastries. We'd definitely stay there again if we were in the area.

"A different stay in an old Monastery."
This was different and not quite what I was expecting. Turns out we booked the cheaper old monk's accommodation which was rustic but quite comfortable. Do not expect typical hotel amenities - this is a bit like camping but in a dry warm place with some comforts. The amazing thing is the age of the place and the fact that we were staying in a room that had been inhabited by the local monks for centuries. Breakfast was the usual continental style and was well presented and adequate. You can book higher quality rooms here, but I urge you to give this a try - and it wont break your credit card. Be careful to check what the arrangement with stairs is. Our room which had 2 bedrooms and slept 4 had one room up a steep staircase in a loft. OK for us but some may struggle.

"Prime location "
Was a little hesitant at first due to the mixed reviews. Lovely comfortable room. It was very warm but had sufficient AC. Unfortunately the AC beeped all night and started to drip on the floor. The second night we stayed there was a lot of noise from the courtyard. Strange entry but as long as you have the address it's easy to find. They should put some light in the courtyard where the elevator is though. That was a little creepy at night. Breakfast was quite decent. Service was helpful and pleasant and even printed up our train tickets for us. Cant beat the location. Its on a main street close to the major sights and bus station.

Siena is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Siena, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Siena hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
