"Nice modern hotel"
This is a wonderfully appointed hotel with modern design and a great location in the heart of Shinjuku. We had a very small room, but that was in line with our budget! The rooftop bar was a nice feature, and the cafe downstairs was good.

"Nice Tiny Room in Tokyo"
The room was extremely small for American standards; however, the bed was very comfortable. I really enjoyed the bathroom with free amenities such as razors, shaving cream, toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc and the hot tub was perfect for a nice warm soak.

"Good hotel in bad part of shinjuku"
I really enjoyed the hotel itself. The staff was very nice, and the facilities were great. This hotel is in a bad part of shinjuku, but it is really close to the shinjuku station, so it was easy to get away.

"Very popular hotel in the best location in Tokyo"
If your looking for a hotel that's right under the Tokyo bright lights, this is it. Right in the middle of all the busy night life. As soon as you walk outside the hotel, your hit with giant billboards, flashy lights, and sounds of Tokyo. Everything was near, such as restaurants, arcades, shopping, movies, etc. It was about a 10 minute walk from Shinjuku Station. However, the station is so big, it's easy to get lost. Look for the East exit, which is the closest to the hotel. THE PROS: -Central location next to everything -Very close to the Shinjuku Station, which can go to the NRT airport -Nice room view -Breakfast on the top floor taste much better than the bottom floor THE CONS: -Very small room. Be prepare for a cozy little room. Barely any space for your luggage to lay out. -Despite the area being a shady place, it is still very safe. Just avoid anybody trying to hassle you for a drink. It's okay to say "No, thank you".

"Great location in Shinjuku"
We stayed here for our first two nights in Tokyo. It's a great location - about a 10 minute walk from Shinjuku Station. The staff was very helpful and our room was small but very comfortable and space efficient. The underbed storage and free washing machine were great bonuses. The breakfast was varied and tasty. We would definitely stay here again. If you want a budget friendly option in a quiet, comfortable area, this is a great option.

"Location is great"
The hotel is a short walk from Shinjuku station and we have stayed there on 2 previous visits to Tokyo. Our twin room was spacious and had room for unpacking and storing cases which is quite rare in most Japanese hotels. The location is great for a short walk to the entertainment district and there are plenty of eateries closeby. We would stay at the Sunroute again for convenience and comfort. The beds are very comfortable and all in all a great stsay.

Setagaya is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Setagaya, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Setagaya hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
