Went to enter our room and the door was open. Reason, you had to pull up hard on the handle to get the door to
shut. It was coming off one hinge. As soon as we were settled in I notice a large spider on the drapes. Called the front desk and asked if he would come and get rid of it, because my husband was in the shower. He did in fact come and kill the spider. I did let the front desk know about the door issue as well, he offered to move us into another room. We declined because we had already settled in for the night. When we checked out the following day, I told the front desk again about the door and spider issue.

Beautiful place. The owners did a great job renovating a historical home. Breakfasts were delicious and well presented.
The town has little to offer but is a close drive to New Braunsfell and Gruen which have plenty to offer.

It's easy to go nuts in Seguin; after all, Seguin and its home county are fertile grounds for pecan farming. Conveniently, the town is also home to a nutcracker museum. Architecture buffs will love Seguin's well-preserved downtown, where Victoriana collides with the Old West. And in the west side of town, faith and education go hand-in-hand at Texas Lutheran University.
