The first night was not good. The hotel had some kind of flooding/water leak on the fourth floor where our room was. Very humid and smelled musty. There were mold stains on the ceiling. But, after requesting a room on a different floor, the rest of our stay was pleasant. The staff was very accommodating.

It's easy to go nuts in Seguin; after all, Seguin and its home county are fertile grounds for pecan farming. Conveniently, the town is also home to a nutcracker museum. Architecture buffs will love Seguin's well-preserved downtown, where Victoriana collides with the Old West. And in the west side of town, faith and education go hand-in-hand at Texas Lutheran University.
