"Nothing fancy, but it did the job."
I stayed four nights during my first time in Bucuresti, and I was completely happy with the hotel. The staff were very nice, especially the ones working the serviceable breakfast. The room was fine, no issues at all, although the shower stall was a bit small (so typical). The location is fine, close to the central University metro station but not in the center of the city, more of a residential neighborhood, and a fairly nice one for walking around. No complaints, just what I wanted.

"Great location, clean, and awesome staff"
The hotel is very centric, and I even walked from the train station, as it is not too far. The best feature is the friendly staff, which made me feel at home. The room is very comfortable with a nice TV and a large bed. The room included breakfast, which I could not use for lack of time, but it was a nice addition. Lastly, the WiFi connection worked well, and overall I really enjoyed my stay.

(-) Room service was good but received a Bad bottle of Wine (+)The front desk removed charge from bill. (-) Room was outdated with the bathroom shower faulty. Bed ok. (+) Many channels on TV in all Languages. (-) smokers had been in the room. (+) Best part was the free use of the facilities gym swimming pool and sauna. (-) Below standard for cost of just the room. (+) overall - other facilities made up for the room. would stay here again with a better room with working shower

I chose this hotel since it was close to where our meeting place was. It's fine, but not very picturesque surroundings, but not too far out of the centre. The rooms were fine, internet is fast. Payment not accepted in Euros cash, only Lei or by card.

"Nice hotel"
I stayed there for 2 nights. The location worked for me - 20 min to airport, 10 min to center with taxi. Walking distance from a newish large mall - "Promenade". The stuff was speaking english, the room was large & clean, free WiFi was working, double bed was double, safebox was available in the room for no charge. The breakfast was very good. There were two relatively minor issues: - The pressure of the hot water wasn't consistent sometimes, which was a bit annoying. - There is some club nearby which music I could hear in the room when it was time to go to sleep. It was tolerable loud (or quiet), but that's a personal matter I suppose.

"Nice hotel close to old town city center"
I had a great time here. I had delicious breakfast every morning. I think it was the number 7.... had lots of meat :) Checking in they let me use my drivers license since I lost my passport. So that was nice of them! Staff was really nice and helpful. Would call a taxi for me and chat with me and such, Hotels pretty close (walking distance) of old city/city center. Fairly cheap for being centrally located and was able to have all my tours pick me up at hotel as a result. Also there was a great Italian restaurant like 2 min walk down the street. Ok in terms of the wifi complaints I saw: I had no issues the entire 2 weeks I was here. Unfortunately with WiFi there are hundreds of variables in the environment that can cause you to have a bad connection or lose connection. There is nothing the hotel staff can do. If everyone's having an issue they can reset the router (which changes the wireless channel being used thus limiting interference from another wireless router in the area) but short of that its really an environmental thing. You just have to try moving things, or moving your laptop to try to get a better signal. If the router works for others then the problem is either with your own laptop and Wireless NIC or with environmental interference which is extremely difficult to isolate and troubleshoot.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Sector 2 hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
