"Business trip to Phoenix"
Well located, comfortable hotel. I spent very little time there as I was in town for a conference that took up most of my attention. I didn't get a chance to try the adjacent bar for a meal. Staff were friendly, efficient and very welcoming. Will use again.

"Nice place lots to do"
Liked the place alot. Casino, golf, nice restaurants, clubs, shows and conveniently located a short drive from Scottsdale. Would return although prices are high for drinks/food but that comes with the area $14 for a double Crown and Coke at the casino ouch.

"7 nights "
Comfortable stay with the kitchens and insuite laundry but didn't like the following.....concrete construction going on through out the complex, the $50.00 US plus tax pr 2 hour (2pm) late check out fee, 4pm check in time, no elevators makes walking and hauling luggage up 3 floors hard and as well the heavy time share push! Our 1 day a week room cleaning was OK but our garbage and empty bottles where put and left outside our door for 2 days in the heat and the birds got into the garbage. I would suggest attention be added to sweeping up and pressure washing throughout the the complex and grimmy edges of the pool / water fountain areas. The gym was OK but would suggest better elipticals and up right bikes. Something for the resort to consider is to add a resort mens and wowans courtesy ready room area for guests to use prior to the resorts later check in and early check out times, this place should be equipped with showers, change rooms and electrical outlets thus allowing their guests the comfort to enjoy the pool area. We would have liked to hang around the pool while waiting for our room as we had an early flight in and a late flight home.

"Great get away for a week"
JD's Lounge has wonderful food, I can't believe we ate there every other day. It was 92 and the weather felt like Wisconsin 80. There were several conventions and I never heard or saw the people. We had the pool almost to ourselves -- there are 5 pools and misting areas for the hour in the afternoon when it is warm. The resort is close to many restaurants and several shopping malls and a theatre. The maid was really nice -- the entire staff was friendly. We stayed in the guest rooms which are roomy and comfortable. A microwave would have been nice as we often had leftovers, as food portions in Scottsdale are large -- we finally decided to split meals .

"Amazing all around"
I loved this resort. My boyfriend and I live in Phoenix, but wanted to get away for a night, so I picked this resort and I do not regret it at all. The staff was overly friendly, the hotel was clean, the food was amazing, and the pool was relaxing. I would stay here again anytime. I think I'm even going to go back soon for the breakfast alone. So good!

"Nice resort "
This was a very nice hotel. The room was a bit small. We booked 5 people and we received 2 queen beds and was offered a roll away. The room was too small for a roll away. The hotel is an Expedia VIP hotel. Don't expect any upgrades they don't have any rooms to upgrade to. It's either 2 queens or 1 king. That was one of the reasons I chose this hotel. Food and drinks are very pricey.

Glossy malls. Sleek galleries. Sun-dappled swimming pools. Trust us, everything sparkles in Scottsdale. And that’s without mentioning the eye-catching Soleri Bridge, a stainless-steel public art display that doubles as a solar calendar. So where should you start? Luxurious spas and manicured golf courses abound, but a stroll through the inviting downtown is just as rewarding.

For old west charm, wander the craft shops of Old Town, with a stop at the Little Red Schoolhouse for a dollop of local history. Contemplate the cosmos inside James Turrell’s Skyspace at the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art. And did someone say art? The upscale galleries and patio restaurants of the Arts District are only a few steps away.

Art, architecture and desert vistas merge seamlessly at Taliesin West, the home and studio of architect Frank Lloyd Wright from 1937 until his death in 1959. The informative Insights Tour explores his stone-and-sand masterpiece. For more mid-century cool, unwind with a poolside cocktail at the snazzy Hotel Valley Ho. It’s all swell, baby.
