Good location, close to beach, public transport and general shopping.
We did request (online booking) for a room at the highest level possible and facing the ocean, only to be offered the lowest floor, level 10 facing North.

Pleasant enough place for a short stay.
This old motel is located close to the beach, restaurants and local shopping. The mote doesn't have a full time reception and to get your keys you first ring an administration office and after a reasonable wait listening to recorded messages you are given a code to log into a key safe on the wall of the motel. From this you get the room key.
Our "Sea View" room was clean and roomy, with a microwave oven, fridge, toaster, small ironing board and an iron. The bathroom was also roomy but didn't have a plug for the hand basin, the shower curtain didn't prevent water from getting onto the bathroom floor and there wasn't a soap holder in shower cubicle.
We stayed there on a cold night and the wall air-conditioner struggled to keep us warm.

Booked into the Quest initially for three nights extended to five, initially in the North Tower which was a bit of a walk from reception and required the use of a luggage trolley, no assistance available? Room was clean and tidy with all facilities you would expect. Overnight secure parking cost A$20 per night. Moved due to extending our stay to the South Tower, which wasted half a day due to waiting for room to be cleaned, we should have lodged our luggage in the store and come back later but we learnt from our mistake. Only to negatives, location is on a main busy road so do not expect peace and the bed could have been more comfortable, otherwise a recommend.

Besides being a little run down, the room was clean and we equipped. Location was super convenient to the beach and shops and parking was easy. The staff were pleasant and helpful and we enjoyed out stay. I will happily stay here another time.

One of Perth's best beaches, located 14 km (9 miles) northwest of the city centre, Scarborough has long been associated with maritime sports, and especially surfing. Its Amphitheatre off the beach is often a venue for sporting events such as the National Surf Life Saving championships. The suburb is characterised by opulent homes and many British immigrants, with cafés and restaurants scattered along the beachfront.
