Staff at the front desk was very kind and helpful. The room was very clean and had some nice amenities. I appreciated the coffeemaker. I never make coffee at hotels because it is usually of very low quality. I also really liked the large bottles of body wash, lotion, etc. that can be refilled instead of the small bottles that feel very wasteful. I gave this hotel a 4 because the two things I found most frustrating were their no refund on cancellations or change policy. I booked for 3 nights and ended up only being able to stay for two and there was no accommodation for this change. It was absolutely in the policy that I was quick to overlook. It just seems to me that most main hotels offer this choice especially with a lot of notice. The second thing I found most frustrating was the size of the parking lot. The spaces were very small and I have a compact sedan.

Cozy, convenient, staff was great, bed very comfortable, pool and jacuzzi open 24/7, they gave us $20 coupons for breakfast at the restaurant next door, other great restaurants were all around the hotel, free parking and wifi, overall very satisfying experience, planning on coming back.

The Sandman was conveniently located next to several restaurants and a grocery within a short walking distance. The breakfast was well stocked with a consciousness attendant to keep it tidy. The pool was a nice salt water pool so no chlorine issues. The beds were very comfortable and the room had an overall clean feel to it. There was a good sized refrigerator and a microwave in room which was convenient. We enjoyed our stay.

One of the nicest places to stay at in Saint Helena for the price. The staff is very friendly and all asking if they could do something for you. The rooms are always clean and one of the most comfortable beds you have slept in .

This place was really enjoyable! They're in the middle of upgrading the place, but you couldn't hear any construction - which is great. The pool was extremely relaxing and the premises were quiet. They have some great cruiser bikes to go to the downtown with (less than 5 min flat ride). The rooms were very nice and recently remodeled. The shower was a rain shower from the ceiling which was nice, but the shower head squirts the water pretty hard which kind of diminished the enjoyment. The beds were extremely comfortable, the room came with free snacks and a nice dining room table to enjoy.
