This hotel doesn't look from the outside like the wonderful place it is inside. The rooms were attractive and comfortable, the front desk clerk friendly and responsive. The only complaint is that it is only one block off of a busy street so a bit of street noise in the morning.

As soon as you arrive, you are greeted in a friendly way with several smiles. When we checked in there was a little station set up for happy hour with a representative from a nearby winery, called Kokomo and he recommended some restaurants, and things to do in the area. We visited his winery the next day and fell in love with it. The rooms at the hotel are clean and spacious, there is a small gym which I used, and the restaurant is more traditional but excellent service and food. We had such a happy stay at this hotel and the energy is very positive amongst the hotel staff. We look forward to returning!

We stayed at this motel four nights. Our room was quiet even though we were on a busy street.
The room was very clean and comfortable.
Santa Rosa Junior College is right next door. A pleasant place to stroll.
Plus there is a vegetarian restaurant next door and a very nice Community Grocery around the corner.

I stayed here for three nights. They have been, and are continuing to re-model and update the place but during my stay over a weekend I was not bothered by any of the construction. I like this style of 60's or 70's motor court where you can park your car right in front of your room. The room was clean and comfortable. There was a little bit of ambient outside noise from the cars being parked, car doors closing, etc but no big deal. There was no tub in my room, just a shower, but that was fine with me. The grounds were very well maintained and nicely landscaped. There are two pools and a new jacuzzi type spa which was very nice and they provide towels outside. There is a nice "coffee shop" type restaurant for breakfast - the food was made to order and the prices were VERY reasonable (especially for California). You are also very close to lots and lots of restaurants and shopping...in fact there are several that you can walk to.

We were in a room that had a handicap shower which was not a problem except the shower head would not stay up so that a person who could stand in the shower was able to wash their hair without holding onto the shower nozzle which made it difficult to wash your hair and body and stay in the water to remain warm. Otherwise it was ok. Nice to be able to walk to dinner.

The clerk at the front desk was very accommodating and helpful getting our wine purchases packaged and shipped home. The water pressure is strong, like a water pik. Short walk to dining and visitor center.
