Pros. I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. It is located near the Santa Cruz mall. Walking distance to the Auditorio. There's a gym and jacuzzi on the 9th floor.
Cons : I would have been happy if we had kettle to make tea in the room. There was no iron in the room also.

A pleasant hotel about 10/15 minutes walk from the centre. Good underground parking (free). The hotel seems to function as a training school (as the name suggests) and there are plenty of staff around. We dined in the first night but were the only ones and therefore went out on other nights (taxi to town 2.75 euros). Food was good but on our own there was no atmosphere.

Although a lovely hotel it caters more for business/weddings. City rooms very noisy. As we were also above the casino, the staff had a small outside area below our room and there was the regular smell of cigarette smoke wafting into our room. There was no bottled water supplied or no tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms. Also although theyadvertise an indoor swimming pool, this is part of the spa and Carries a supplement if you want to use it.

In an ideal position in the centre of the city, close to the main shopping street and 15 minute walk to the port and main bus and tram station. On a traffic-free street facing a lovely shady square. Lots of bars and restaurants close by.
We used it to break our journey between Puerto de la Cruz and the airport. Also ideal for any events such as football or concerts.
Buffet style breakfast with plenty of choice. Very good value for money.

Hotel it self is very ideally located and in the centre of the city.
Mattress was like 100 years old (not literally) but it was very soft and I could feel the springs however this was promptly changed for me upon my request. So thank you. Pillows were really thin and soft. Had to fold mine to make a square and make it thicker and firmer.
The staff speak good English and are very polite with the exception of 1 ginger haired reception lady who did not seem interested in helping. Especially when asked to give 3 extra pillows we were given 2 and was told we cannot have anymore (there were 3 guests) which I thought was a bit strange.
Room floor was full of dust and debris (don't walk bare foot)
Hair dryer was not working either.
Would not recommend for people with back problems or pregnant women (as my wife is) as you will not be comfortable especially if you need 3 pillows (2 to sleep on and 1 for knee support whilst lying down)
Breakfast okay. Nothing special but not sickening either. Hot beverages were in a flask and were mostly warm only and it got cold very quick upon pouring it. Pastries did not seem fresh either but tasted decent. Good selections of fruits which seemed fresh however.

Well located hotel next to the best park in Santa Cruz, it is within easy walking distance of good restaurants and the main shopping streets. Staff very pleasant and helpful, bar food option is a good alternative to the main hotel restaurant. Rooftop pool, jacuzzi and sunbathing area are not usually crowded and there are great views from this rooftop. Rooms are clean and comfortable, though the window on mine only had views on a small inner courtyard.

The room was clean and the hotel common areas are pretty cute. I think I expected more from the bathroom than there actually was. It was one of those where there's no way not to be touching a wall or the curtain at any given time and there's no real tub.

We enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable and clean. It was centrally located, within walking distance to many sights and the bus station. We were there for Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. We weren't prepared for how deserted the city would be on Christmas Eve. Breakfast was included in our rate, which was very reasonable. The desk is manned 24 hours/day. The staff was always friendly and helpful.

Pocket Guide: Tenerife Santa Cruz de Tenerife Hotels
The capital of Tenerife, Santa Cruz is a busy, largely modern city visited by day trippers. It is a good place to stay if you wish to avoid the island’s more touristy aspects. The shopping is excellent (particularly the daily market), golden San Andres beach is the most attractive on Tenerife, and there is a wide choice of authentic Canarian bars and restaurants. Plaza del Principe is a charming square, home to the Municipal Museum of Fine Arts.
