"Comfortable hotel with friendly/ efficient staff."
Stayed for nearly a week for rest, relaxation, sights and beach. Hotel is ideally situated for all these things and the staff in reception and elsewhere were invariably friendly and helpful in supporting and advising us. Hotel is very close to beach (and will lend beach towels for a deposit) and on a frequent bus route to the main parts of the city (which in any case is only 10/15 mins walk away. Breakfast is a splendid buffet with dishes, cold and hot, promptly replenished as necessary. Weather was perfect!

"Lovely hotel and hostess."
This hotel is typically Spanish in both style and furnishings, and occupies an excellent location on one side of a square in central Jerez. It was originally a large private house, but converted to a hotel. To gain access from the street through the impressive front doors you have to press the bell! We loved this hotel's central location, with many places within a 10 minute walk such as the cathedral and the Alcazar. The hotel's owner/manageress is a delight, always willing to offer advice and information. You feel as though you are her special guests.

"Attractive, well run hotel overlooking the beach."
Attractive building overlooking the large busy beach of Playa Victora. A well run hotel. We enjoyed the bar Neptune menu which is in English and very reasonably priced and tasty food. All staff friendly and helpful.

"Nice hotel away from it all."
Although Cadiz is about 30 minutes away, we found El Puerto de Santa Maria to be lovely. Open air shopping kiosks along the waterfront with lots of seafood restaurants.

"Very central to the City"
We have just stayed 4 nights at this hotel and have really enjoyed it. We had a Junior Suite which was large with a separate sitting area and dressing room. The room was spotlessly clean and well maintained. There was a good selection at breakfast and the staff were so helpful and friendly. Would use this hotel again, especially for the location.

"Nice hotel close to the beach"
This hotel was mostly great but there were a few things that make me think twice if I would stay here. There was some great hotel staff, like Arturo, who checked me in and took me up to my room to show me how everything worked, recommend some places to see and restaurants. Very friendly. The Pool (Franco?) bartender and lifeguards were all nice and friendly. My problems were one day the made placed my clean shower towels on top of the bidet. This is where people clean their butt's after taking a poop. I am a RN and this, to me, was a huge infection control issue. Secondly, the staff at the breakfast were supposed to offer you a pot of coffee (they did on the first day, after I had finished my breakfast), but the 2nd day I had to get up and go ask someone because he ignored me and never checked on me, the 3rd day the lady did as well, and yet, there was only myself at a table and one other table with two people. She didn't bother to check on either table. She even went into the other room to laugh and talk with the server for that room. Thirdly, at the bar/restaurant downstairs, the lady tried to sell me a premium gin and tonic with only a little bit of alcohol in the bottle and she said "that's all we have". I had to tell her to just get me a different gin, so I could have the drink how it's supposed to be made.

"Convenient for Cadiz"
Hotel is a bit tired but the bedrooms are very clean and the rooftop pool had a cool breeze. Parked in public car park for €3 per day. Ferry to city costs €2.60. Runs til 10pm and takes 30mins. 5 minutes walk to local restaurants. I would recommend this hotel if you need parking. The city has tight streets.

"Excellent value hotel in Sherry port near Cadiz"
This is an excellent small hotel in one of the sherry ports, half an hour across the bay from Cadiz (whether by catamaran ferry, by train, or by bus). I am not sure how representative the Expedia price I paid was, but I found the spec of the hotel outstanding value for money - smart public areas and rooms, with marble floors and tasteful décor, and very clean. The hotel staff I dealt with were without exception helpful and charming, although none that I dealt with had more than very basic English. This comment also applies to staff in restaurants etc in the town of El Puerta de Santa Maria, although the tourist information office in the town was very helpful in good English. The only English language TV channel available in the room ran back-to-back old Hollywood movies, but the Wi-Fi connection was excellent. I found the hotel very quiet (including on a Saturday night). Restaurant prices in surrounding streets were much better value than in Cadiz itself. Like one other reviewer, I found the hotel initially hard to find. The very narrow street it is on turns off the main road from the station, but it is not named at the crucial junction. The map does accurately give the names of the streets immediately preceding the one you need. Overally, I would definitely stay there again.

Santa Catalina Beach is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Santa Catalina Beach, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Santa Catalina Beach hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
