Overall, my wife and I had a great time during our visit to SF. The hotel is right off the 101 and centrally located between SF and wine country.
The hotel is very clean, especially our room. While the staff was okay, the cleaning staff did an exceptional job at cleaning our room each and every day.
We absolutely would not hesitate to stay here again when we’re in the area. I would definitely recommend this hotel to other couples staying in the area.

We stayed for just one night. The room on the fourth floor with a great view of the bay. Beds were very comfortable. The room was very quiet, not much noise from outside nor other rooms. Air conditioner / heater was new, working properly. The room was clean, except that ants appeared on the counter couple of hours after we brought in some food.

nice buffet breakfast provided with many choices and a friendly assistant to replenish beverages and foods;
difficult time checking in - no one in office, didn't answer phone, seemed annoyed to be bothered with us even though it was late afternoon
rooms are adequate and clean, but nothing special, clearly there has been good attempt to maintain and
parts of facility are quite run down - former swimming pool is now storage for broken equipment, a shame since we had stayed there 25 years ago and the grounds and facilities were much nicer

Had a really nice stay here. You can't beat the location immediately next to campus, and the hotel staff was really helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable, clean, and had an unbeatable view of the Camponile but a little bit cramped.
The room had some tech. issues: the phone didn't work, the remote barely worked, and the window wouldn't stay open. But all of these were rather minor inconveniences. For the most part the hotel was exactly what we needed, the only thing that I got hung up on was how expensive the parking was.

People come to Marin’s largest and oldest city to shop, eat, visit art studios, and buy organic food at a weekly farmer’s market. A walk around the vibrant downtown reveals a mixture of architectural styles including the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Civic Center. Visitors can enjoy bay views from China Camp State Park, named for the Chinese immigrant fishing village that thrived here in the 1880s.
