"Hip Industrial Vibe on the Bay"
My adult daughter and I stayed at this hotel and I must say it was more her style than mine. Hip Industrial decor. Many gathering sites indoor and out. Funky game room and oversized classic games. Our room itself was small but comfortable with the best mattress I've ever had in a hotel. The insulation between rooms as well as to outside was not the best as we could hear neighbors and street noise. The walk from the elevators to our room was crazy long. No breakfast or wine and cheese in evening that we were made aware of.

"Clean and friendly"
The rooms, grounds, and staff were wonderful! The motel isn't as updated as some, it is very clean and comfortable. We were given a substantial discount on an already great rate because of a problem with the motel's thermostats, but the temperatures were never a problem. The adjacent restaurants are within a few steps of the motel and great quality. I love that the motel is located overlooking the bay. The free breakfast is amazing - bacon, eggs, sausage muffins, wafgled, fruit, hot and cold cereal, juice, coffee, and tea, and plenty of it! We will be back!

"Convenient, comfortable stay"
This is an older motel, but comfortable. It was our 1st time there. Most of the rooms seem to be on the top floor and there is no elevator, which was hard on us. We had requested a downstairs room due to health issues, but , as with most motels, they don't read the request until you arrive (8 PM). It was difficult climbing the stairs (really worn and dirty carpet, covered with plastic)., and the outside balcony hallway was not really conducive to our health issues either(vertigo). The room was clean and roomy, the bath tub a bit dated. It was very quiet and the view out the back window was lovely. There are not many choices of motels in Alameda. We were happy to be able to get this one on a weekend.

"Lovely Bay side Inn"
Lovely bay side inn with breathe taking views of the bay and marina. Fireplace was a delight on foggy-chilly mornings. The inn is a delightful reprieve after a busy day in the City and is very close to the Airports. The restaurant staff need some training in proper service. Too many people stepping over each others feet serving the same table. The front desk staff are WONDERFUL. They are pleased to recommend various sites to visit, provide easy to follow maps either to places in the city or conveniences located nearby. Check in and check out were a breeze. And, the use of the dedicated guest computer was so helpful and convenient, Two negatives: 1) not enough parking for guest since Inn sell parking space for long term travelers. 2) the ground need a lot of attention, dead bushes, trash, exposed foundation, broken lattice and a bunch of cats which makes you wonder what is under that foundation which has many holes directly in the concrete which the cats go in and out of. The cats are probably a good idea, but the exposed foundation, dead bushes and vegetation kind of give you the creeps. Not sure if the grounds in back of the hotel belong to the hotel or are public. The "grass" is brown, and the wild geese poop there, so watch your step until you get to the paved walking path which is clean and delightful both mornings and evenings,

San Francisco Bay is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in San Francisco Bay, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your San Francisco Bay hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
