"Perfect base for Florence exploration!"
Perfect location. Great breakfast. Clean, comfortable rooms. The room near the street corner was a bit noisy late into the night, but the interior room was very quiet.

"Great location within easy walk from the station."
We had a great time here from the first moment we arrived (02.30). very comfortable room, good shower and soft towels! Copious breakfast for all pallets and diets, and superb uova strapellata always. The hotel is well placed for explorers as it is near S. Marcos in the north allowing one to head off in any southbound route without missing any of the subtly hidden gems in the city of which there are many, with il Duomo always looming in view along the high narrow streets. First class location.

"On the edge of city centre"
Lovely hotel. All clean and efficient, staff competent and friendly, stuff worked. Every evening (6-9) the bar (= dining-room) has laid out an assortment of cold food which is free to eat, and you pay only for your drinks: you can eat/drink there or in the adjoining lounge. Very welcome after a day trudging round Florence in the heat. The hotel is within easy walking distance of city centre (c 20 minutes to station, 30 to Piazza della Signoria); but the area it is in is quiet. The rooms are around a central open courtyard, which has various chairs and tables - which I would have sat at but for the insects! The aircon works as if by magic: no noise, I never worked how it operated, but it did! Just as well, as Florence was in mid-30s all day, and c 25 at night; but room was mysteriously cool. I'd recommend it keenly - either to solo travellers, like me, or to couples.

"Decent hotel"
Overall it was a decent hotel. Not much amenities but if you just want a place to sleep then it's ok. It was close to the airport, popular supermarket and inner city. There's not much to do in the area but eat. Public transportation is nearby so you can get around relatively easy The staff was friendly. I found strange that the nightly tax rate had to be paid in cash (euros) and they would not accept credit card. I did not see this information posted on the website.

"Small family run hotel in Florence."
Small, charming, family run hotel, which sits south of the river Arno, in the suburbs of Florence. The hotel staff are very friendly, courteous, informative and extremely helpful. During our 10 day stay, the hotel staff team spent hours helping us with local information, booking trips, attraction visits, train tickets, taxis and bus tickets. AII the staff have very good English. We enjoyed a nice continental breakfast buffet in the quaint but small dining room. The en-suite room was clean and tidy. The hotel is near to a regular bus route into the centre Florence. (20 mins approx) However the bus is very often full, standing room only. The hotel provides free mini bar in the room and afternoon tea/coffee with croissants and cake in small sitting room. There is a supermarket across the square which provides most things that you may require during your stay.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
