"Great hotel. But quite far from downtown amenities"
I liked this hotel. Great service and courteous staff. The only two issues were that 1-It is far from the downtown amenities like River Walk, The Alamo, and Convention Center, if you walk.Think that you will walk 2.5 miles. The area where it is is not the best. There were some homeless about for a few blocks. The smell in the area was not appealing and the homeless sometimes will shout obscenities wanting money. For that, I used Uber for transportation to and from the other side of downtown. 2- the plumbing at the hotel sometimes may give you problems. I had a couple of instances when the toilet plugged up. Having said that, this hotel is very pleasant, has a great breakfast from 6-10 am, and an excellent staff. Service is super. Rooms very clean.

Room very clean. Curtains kept room comfortably dark. I asked to be far from elevator and I was put near it. I did not hear it, so it was ok. The shower water only luke warm. I have had this complaint at other Drury hotels, so it must be a corporate water temp decision.
