"Amazing Location on Omaha Beach"
This hotel has the perfect location on Omaha Beach. The view is unbeatable. The history of the hotel is remarkable. It was a great place to learn about the D-day. It was a very peaceful hotel. The hotel did not have air conditioning, which is probably not a necessity, but there was a heat wave the day we arrived, and it was surprisingly warm.

"Best Place to Stay "
Les Villlas is a gem. Great location, exceptional rooms and service, and a unique, historic but upgraded facility. This was one of our favorite locations during our three vacation. Breakfast and dinner are offered on site with advanced reservation - do it! Delicious food. You can order drinks in the lobby or outdoor patio.

"Outstanding staff and great location."
Hotel Bayeux is very well located so that many sights are in walking distance. The staff are very helpful and have good suggestions for restaurants, museums and all the major sights. They are glad to make arrangements for tours such as trips to the Normandy D-Day beaches and many others. An excellent American style breakfast with the addition of delicious French pastries can be purchased every morning. There is no elevator but there are many first floor rooms if stairs are a problem. I would highly recommend this hotel.

"Beautiful grounds. "
Beautiful grounds and main Chateau. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a separate building with two rooms and a shared entryway. It was quite pretty but a little run down (dirty carpet, grunge around bathroom fixtures). The laundry facilities must have been located in the rear of this building, as both mornings we were treated to the voices and loud laughter of the staff just outside our bathroom. Bed was very firm and not comfortable. It was quite hit during our stay and the pool was unusable (water was very warm and the facility was hit like a sauna). I suspect it might have been nicer to stay in the main Chateau. No question that the grounds make you feel as though you are in a fairytale!

The house and gardens are stunning, you get the feel of living in and old county estate house. Convenient access from the train station. Within walking distance to downtown for restaurants and sites. Right around the corner from the Tapestry Museum. Staff was very friendly. My wife loved the place. Stayed in the Coleville suite which had access to the gardens from french doors in the room and bathroom. No A/C but flow through ventilation from open windows on both sides of the house.

Hotel was extremely clean and staff was great. Breakfast was incredible and the golf course was large and open. We enjoyed being just on the outside of town in the country, but able to go into town for fine dinners. You could see the ocean from the second level where you ate breakfast.

"Nice hotel with good parking close to town."
This is a good hotel with friendly staff and a good restaurant. It is conveniently close enough to the town center to walk and is easy to find from the auto route. The hotel provided me with a pleasant and convenient stopover before I caught the ferry home. I will certainly use it again when I am next in France.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
