Overall pleasant stay. Inadvertently booked a smoking room (assumed all hotels have switched to non-smoking) but was surprised our room had no liguring smell. Staff helpful with check-in questions and wifi p/w issue. Bar in pool area a nice bonus for parents. Definitely a young family oriented property- not suited for couples or teen aged children during summer months or vacation times.

The Terzo room had very comfortable beds and a nice view of their pond. The room was quiet. Downside of the hotel was that some of the staff did not appear to be welcoming to English speaking guests. We waited for 5 minutes at the front of the restaurant at Le Bonne Entente and when a waiter finally came to serve us he saw a french person behind us and decided to help them first. We left and went to breakfast at nearby Cosmos which had very friendly staff.

This hotel is about 6 miles to the city center. You probably need a car if you stay here. The hotel was clean, modern and pretty comfortable. The only dislikes that I have are that the side doors were accessible after hours and that our room was by the hotel where they would receive deliveries early in the AM. Overall it has access to shopping, the aquarium and restaurants fairly close. It is a good option for those who don't mind a short drive. Hopefully, the security concerns will be addressed.

For the amount of money you save staying here versus right downtown it's well worth it. We went for 3 nights during our 3rd anniversary
Staff was lovely and supper accommodating; room
We got a free room upgrade once there. It had a huge jacuzzi tub - unfortunately the jets didn't work but we weren't too disappointed as it was a perk we didn't expect
There's a grocery store and Starbucks a quick walk away which was covinent as well as a gas station which we were able to get our daily bus pass from
It was very easy to get to downtown old Quebec City - a 20 min direct bus ride
I would definitely stay here again.
