"All basics covered in room plus excellent mattress"
Baby swimming lessons in half of pool on Saturday morning. Did impact on preventing tranquility!
Great buffet breakfast but was cut short (earlier finish of 10am instead of 11am) on Sunday due to wedding. This led to near bedlam when too busy. Staff trying their best to find a table for each guest who needed one. So atmosphere not relaxed like on Saturday.
Otherwise really good. Marco restaurant not too pricey. Alternative dining choices very welcoming too.

We booked at the last minute. Massive hostel with good facilities. Big garden. A bit far from the centre of town, but we had a car. Stratford is a beautiful town, and this is a good place to stay while visiting.

I stayed for one night whilst working in the area. The hotel has a light airy atmosphere and the room was clean, modern and well maintained.I had room service - pan fried chicken with mushroom sauce - it was delicious as was breakfast. It has a golf facility attached to it and sometimes that can dominate a hotel like this but I honestly wouldn't have known as its right up the other end of the hotel and does not impinge at all.

Chose this hotel to host a family and friends celebration after two days frustrating trawl of the internet and seemingly endless reports of poorly trained and/or disinterested staff, disappointing food, shabby chic and tired decor etc. etc. etc. Almost gave up and cancelled the occasion. However, the Catthorpe Manor promised everything I was looking for; easy to find for our members of the party travelling from as far North as Cumbria and as far South as London, with a good restaurant and clean, comfortable rooms for young and old. It delivered in style in every respect and was a memorable success with all members of our party. Everyone on the staff was genuinely friendly and our sons and daughters in law were very pleased with the ease with which the needs of our very young grandsons (18 months and 3 months) were accommodated. The rooms were in extremely good condition, decorated in restful pastel colours, with very comfortable beds and temperatures. Dinner was fine dining, putting quality before quantity but none the worse for that, and freshly cooked (not buffet!) full English breakfast the next morning also excellent. Highly recommended. Wouldn't hesitate to eat or stay there again.

The birthplace of rugby football in 1823, it comes as no surprise that the Webb Ellis Rugby Football Museum is found in Rugby. Shops, restaurants, and lively pubs populate the town square. After gazing up at St. Marie's Church spire (the tallest in Warwickshire), head to Caldecott Park and observe the award-winning gardens from the Britain in Bloom competition.
