"Ran out of hot water in the middle of the night"
This is a lovely Riad and our two night stay could have been a wonderful experience if it weren't for the lack of hot water when attempting to take a shower in the middle of the night. When we notified the night staff on duty, they mentioned the primary tank was exhausted and needed to turn on the secondary tank. Asked us to wait 5 - 10 minutes for the hot water to be available; the hot water wasn't available even 2 hours later! We were at Rabat in April and it gets quite chilly at night. We resorted to using kitchen's hot water boiler and a bucket and to complete the shower! This is not something you'd expect from a 4 star Riad. Hopefully the hotel will address the issue with their hot water system as the Riad is beautiful and their restaurant serves great food.

Riad Azahra

11 Rue Skaia Bel Mekki, Rabat - Map
"A simple but good place to stay"
This hotel is the closest you'll get to a true Moroccan styled building. You get the feeling you're living with a sultan in his home. The staff are great. It does not have many services like a restaurant or admin services but it's sister hotel just a few yards away does. This hotel is a quiet base to live in while you explore other restaurants and experiences. The great thing is that it is located inside the Medina, so you feel like you're living in the past. Overall, this is a great hotel to live in if you're planning to walk around and experience the many great options in the area.

"Holiday in Rabat"
I recently spent a visit to Morocco in Rabat. Staying at the B&B Rabat Medina Hotel I found the hotel very central and convenient. It was easy to walk almost every where in Rabat and for greater distances the Tram system is cheap and easy to use. The Hotel staff are friendly and very helpful...thank you

Le Pietri Urban Hotel - Rabat Hotels

Le Pietri Urban Hotel

4, Rue Tobrouk, Rabat - Map
"Nice urban hotel in a good position."
The Pietri is a nice urban hotel in a good position near the flower market, 5 minutes from the main Rabat Ville train station and 2 minutes from the nearest tram point, the trams are an excellent way of getting around the city and cheap at 6 dirhams each per journey, tickets obtained at the tram point booths. Our room was was on the 2nd floor, clean and modern with a nice bathroom and maid service every morning. It was at the front of the hotel and surprisingly quiet for such a busy area. The staff were very helpful and good English was spoken at reception whenever we requested information. Breakfasts were good with a very nice lady on duty who spoke excellent English. A nice selection of hot and cold dishes, fruit and pastries was provided, the fresh orange juice was lovely but unfortunately tea was not on the menu. The restaurant/bar itself was very good with an international evening menu and live music sessions 3 nights a week. The restaurant was very busy on the two nights we ate there but service was good. There is also a pleasant terrace between floors where we could sit in the sun and read if we wished. There are a number of nice restaurants and cafe's available in the area and Jose's Tapas on Mohammed V is worth a visit. We enjoyed re-visiting Rabat and our stay at Hotel Pietri was good. We would have no hesitation in using this hotel again.

Rue des Consuls is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Rue des Consuls, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Rue des Consuls hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
