"Really nice hotel in the French Quarter"
Beautiful hotel in the heart of the French Quarter and easy walk to all sites and streetcars. Beautifully decorated for the holidays while we were there. Really nice rooftop pool and bar area with fitness center. Great hotel restaurant Cirillo and we also enjoyed the Carousel Bar with live music. In room coffee and refrigerator, the gift shop had an espresso machine , which was a plus. Highly recommended and we would return.

"Great Value and Perfect Location!"
The concierge was very helpful. The hotel was small but quaint. The little patio was perfect to relax at. The breakfast was what you could expect, a few different muffins, fruit and pastries. I was so impressed by how clean it was at the hotel and especially in my room. The absolute best thing about the hotel is the location. Once you walk out if you turn right two streets down it's Bourbon St and if you turn left it's Jackson Square. The value of this hotel is the best in the area. I will certainly stay here again if I'm ever back in NOLA.

This was a very convenient location with very friendly and accommodating staff. The bathroom walls, baseboards and grout were all dirty but the bed was comfortable. I enjoyed the character of the place.

"Great location, rooms could use some cleaning"
We had a great stay in NOLA. It was our first trip to the Big Easy. This hotel seemed like the perfect pick at the time of booking. The location of the hotel is perfect. Kitty-corner from Bourbon and a couple minutes from the French Quarter area. Away from all the noise but still close enough to all the fun. Would definitely stay here again, however the rooms could definitely use some deep cleaning. The sheets are worn and there was dust everywhere. I know that it's probably busy all the time there and whatnot, but this is no excuse. Busy or not, rooms need to be clean. This is coming from a former hotelier and someone that is still in the industry. Overall, our stay was great. Would love to come back and check out one of the other properties you guys have in the area or even this property again.

"Best kept secret in New Orleans"
This hidden gem is worth the little bit of noise you hear from the bar downstairs. I loved the whole vibe of this place. Very cool rooms and the staff was awesome! We met Adam and Sunshine, they were both so accommodating. We will be back for sure.

"Home Away from Home...."
We stayed here for 3 nights earlier November 16 and felt like it was our home away from home. We had a wonderful welcome with Rita who advised us what to see and where to go, which was a great help. The rock and roll room which we stayed in is located on the ground floor which was great for me as the stairs were bit steep. It had a huge four poster bed which needed cute little 2 steps up onto it. The room had very high ceilings and was traditionally furnished in antique dark wood furniture, small walk in wardrobe and lovely fitted bathroom, small tub with overhead shower. Breakfast was in a communal kitchen with continental style pastries cereal juices etc, no hot food but plenty to eat. Most days Rita is in there with you giving you helpful tips of New Orleans and general chit chat, she seems to love meeting people from around the world. The house was very old and as such had a wonderful collection of ornate antique furniture giving it the feel of a grand old home. Location is great, its right at the very end of Frenchman street but very quiet as it is it is where all the pubs, bars etc finish. To reiterate......wonderful house...... wonderful location.........wonderful host Rita. Would without a shadow of a doubt recommend and defiantly stay there again

Royal Street is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Royal Street, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Royal Street hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
