Beautiful and comfortable apartment

Beautiful and comfortable apartment in a charming neighborhood!! The hosts were so sweet and thoughtful. Conveniently located to Ostia Antica archaeological site and the beaches. We’d definitely stay there again!

Nice surprise! Clean, well maintained, spacious studio apartment with a lovely backyard and swimming pool. The hosts were wonderful. They made sure we had everything we needed. They even offered to drive us to a restaurant. When we arrived in the neighborhood we thought it was a little run down, but it was very safe and walkable.

The hosts were were lovely people, they were able to offer a airport transfer, the facilities in the property were fabulous. Breakfast was left in the kithen and fridge for self service. It has a fridge/ freezer, washing machine, cooker. Tea/ coffee facilities. A lovely garden to sit in with swimming pool. A 15-20 min walk to nearest village, it has an archeology site nearby. Metro train nearby also. The local supermarket had minimum supplies. There's a nick- nac shop ( chinese) where you can pick up lots of different things like phone chargers and adapters.the beds at the property were comfortable, x1 double upstairs and x1 sofa bed. Often noisy at night with the local dogs barking.half an hour from FCO airport, 45 mins from rome.

Stayed one night here and it was very lovely. Swimming and sun chair helps to relax after the flight, quite near to the airport too. The apartment was very clean and tidy, had everything you need. The only thing I’d say to the visitors is that put that mosquito repellent (provided in the apartment) as soon as you get there. I spent about 3 minutes with the host whilst he was explaining everything about the apartment and the mosquitoes had already found their way in! Everything else was very pleasant. The couples are very lovely and interesting to talk to. I’d definitely book again when I’m in Rome.

Wonderful stay

Flavia was a warm, kind and hospitable host who made me feel welcome from the beginning to the end. I thoroughly enjoyed the comfortable bed, nicely laid out bathroom and fully stocked kitchen. Add the pool and patio to the mix, and I can wholeheartedly recommend Gens Mundi as your Rome base. 4.5* to this wonderful B&B. Grazie mille, Flavia!

Lanfranco stayed up to 2 am to welcome us to his beautiful home. The property is in the lovely Ostia Antica, a Roman city that is better preserved and larger than Pompeii. He made sure everything was perfect for us. He drove us to the ruins, picked us up and took us to the airport. We couldn't have been happier with the service. Plus, the room was clean, quiet and safe. This is what a B&B should be. There was also a pool on the property, but sadly we didn't have much time to spend.
