"Small quiet hotel, perfect for relaxing"
The hotel is a small quiet hotel with very friendly and available staff. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had an enjoyable trip. It was a very relaxing trip and we will definitely go back.

"Don't judge something from the cover "
When you pull up to hotel it looks like it need a Lil tlc but when you go inside it's a nice Lil gem, staff was verrrry welcoming to my fiancé and I and when we ask to change our room they did at no cost and no headache, breakfast was good a taste of the Caribbean, if you want to experience the Caribbean vibe try here it's worth the price you pay for what you get , I notice some reviewers have water money but wants to drink champagne the hotel is really not bad and any issue we had it was fix right away such wonderful staff . This was one of my first vacation where we actually didn't need a car everything is walking distance beach restaurant mall bank club etc only time we took taxi was to the street fest on Friday which cost us only $20 round trip and he waited for us check taxi driver groovey I will definitely be coming back and I will stay here again only reason I couldn't give resort 5 rating was because we only had one key for the room which could be annoying but overall get resort and staff

"Close to the beach, hotel is new and very tech sav"
The hotel was well laid out. We stayed in building six and had a great view of the pools and ocean. The staff were all friendly and willing to assist. The only areas of concern are the restaurants. The time it takes between getting drinks , bringing entrees and appetizers were brutal. The food was worth the wait.

"Living on the economy"
When I travel, I prefer to live in the country and experience local hospitality. Espoir is that. Being local, the money stays in the country. The food is easily the match of nearby resorts (and quality dining internationally) and the staff all the more personable. I'm visiting the island for work. Though I would have liked a desk in my apartment, this is where I will stay next time. No question.

"Nice hotel, but not as romantic as you might hope."
On the whole, this is a lovely hotel. The quality of the room was great, the food and drink was surprisingly good, and the staff were friendly. The beach and water sports were also top notch, with lovely white sand, clear water and a selection of water sports equipment in very well maintained condition. If I had one criticism it would actually be the atmosphere. For a hotel brand that pitches itself as a romantic resort for couples, I was expecting a much more relaxed and sophisticated environment - all romantic bars serving cocktails to adoring couples relaxing on beanbags, perhaps to a gentle soundtrack of chill-out music, that kind of thing. Instead, the atmosphere round the main pool from about 11am onwards was more like a Club 18-30 resort: Loud pumping music blasts from the speakers (including holiday classics such as the macarena), DJs organise people into various games and activities, and constant shouts of "Woooooo!!" and the occasional "Hell Yeah!!" can be heard from the crowds of enthusiastic guests already sloshed on fruit-based sugary rum drinks at the swim-up bar. To be fair to Sandals, I'm fairly miserable at the best of times, and most of the hotel guests seemed to love this kind of stuff, so if that's your bag then you'll also love it too no doubt. It was possible to avoid the party on the beach or round the couple of other smaller pools though.

"Checks all the boxes"
My wife and 11yo were extremely happy with our choice to stay at the Royal. We had a clean and spacious ground floor suite that opened to the nicely manicured courtyard about 100 feet from Reduit beach. The pool has a swim up bar and covered cushioned cabanas seen at those $$$$ high end luxury resorts. The staff was very friendly and accommodating (thank you Franklin & MacLauren) and the complimentary buffet breakfast had more to offer than you could sample all week. Situated within walking distance to many very nice restaurants in Rodney bay you won't feel isolated if you prefer to tour but is also buffered enough so that you may enjoy some secluded quiet if you wish. The beach is beautiful, the water is clear and there are many activities so you won't ever be bored. In speaking with a more seasoned St. Lucia vacationing couple the gentlemen affirmed our feelings that the Royal "checks all the boxes". I don't know why you would spend any more and If you did would you still receive all the same great amenities? I probably wouldn't even bother looking for another resort if we were to ever visit St. Lucia again.

"Beachfront garden oasis"
Of the three Sandals resorts on St. Lucia, this is by far the most quiet and restful. There is plenty to do if you choose, but there are also a lot of places to relax and soak up the beauty of the gardens and beach.

Rodney Bay is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Rodney Bay, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Rodney Bay hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
