Staunton, VA is a charming small city and is home of Mary Baldwin College which hosts the Heifetz International Music Festival. The hotel is close to everything. Our only disappointment was that the little bar and restaurant wasn't open on Sunday nights since we had hoped to relax and dine in the hotel. The rooms are very comfortable. We'll be coming back.

Easy off the highway but cozy like you are tucked away in rural Virginia. Staff were so accommodating and friendly. My daughter's first experience at a bed and breakfast and she lived it! The homemade granola was awesome!!

The manager on duty was very friendly, but he neglected to tell us about the breakfast offered in the hotel... The hotel room was clean but had s smoke odor ... The rooms across the hall were smoking rooms and the smell permeated our room. It was tough to find the entrance to the parking lot as there was no signage on the road and you had to go down a side street and through the Panera parking lot to get to the hotel. Overall the hotel was okay for a stop in a road trip.

100% would stay again. Room was as clean as I would expect. Cute little breakfast nook, fridge, microwave. Large soft bed. Hot water in the morning. Those are the things I require. Price was good. If I am ever that way again, I will be sure to use them.

Upon carrying luggage up to second floor room and attempting to open door it was latched from the inside and already occupied by someone (silently) closing door after I opened with key card. Needless to say this was disconcerting as a first impression. Room was clean and beds comfortable. Breakfast area was clean, although seating was limited at 7am. Eggs were precooked and stacked in a refrigerator with styrofoam plates to reheat in the microwave.
