For the most part the hotel was nice.
We came in after a lot no drive.
But as I went to bed, it looked like the sheets were slept in.
NOT NEWLY MADE BED!
But because we were exhausted we went to bed
Only to find the next morning someone's used Kleenex in between the top sheet and bottom sheet!
And someones black hair in the bathroom.
Not ours we are blonde.

You never really know what to expect as you look at a view of the Hotel from your laptop, but my husband and I were awed. It was more than we expected in an area that wasn't bad at all. Never been to Charlotte but will be back again knowing where I can stay the next time. Thank You for surprising us!

Overall stay was nice, however I had called ahead to confirm that we had adjoining rooms. Check-in was at 3pm and we arrived about 4:30pm. I was told there were no clean adjoining rooms available. The front desk girl was nice, but offered no solution, except to wait!!! We had driven over 2 hours and had a concert to get ready for. I asked if we could be put in some sort of room to wait and she acted like she wasn't sure. Finally, one of the housekeepers said that would work. We were put in a "holding" room for almost an hour and then moved to our rooms. There were no issues after and we were offered a discount, but check in was a nightmare.

The driver that took us to the airport yesterday morning at 4:00 am was speeding the whole time to the airport. Your drivers need to follow the speed limits for our safety and the safety of others. Thanks

We went up to Charlotte to spend one day thrift shopping, but more importantly for Carowinds. This hotel was hidden a little, but was close to the highway and was not too far from any specific part of Charlotte. We had a king size studio, which was very clean and very comfortable. There was a slight smoke like smell in the hallways and especially in the stairway, but our room was in very good condition. The breakfast is a grab and go breakfast, so don't go expecting much more than coffee and muffins. However, I'd definitely stay here again next time we're in Charlotte.

Although across the border in South Carolina, Rock Hill is considered to be in Charlotte’s fringes. The town’s Main Street is postcard-worthy with its mix of historic structures built between 1870 and 1835. Shuttered cotton mills are becoming residential, retail, and office space in the up-and-coming Textile Corridor. This thoroughfare connects downtown with Winthrop University.
